I love this tv. Vizio is a pretty good brand. The size is just right for the bedroom and the features are nice. Sound is decent but I added a Vizio sound bar and that has made a HUGE difference! The screen clarity is great as well. I would say, this is a great tv for a master bedroom. Very easy to set up as. I just hope Vizio adds more apps to their library.

I'm a techy, so setting it up was a breeze. I hook up big screen TVs and hang them, and connect them to audio components. I've been an audio file for 30-plus years and know a thing or two about home entertainment. It was easy to program my Vizio with my DirecTV remote. No sweat! I'm very happy with this set and didn't want to buy something I wasn't sure of, like a Hisense or a TC l, or any of those odd Brands. I was looking for a Panasonic but... Sigh.

I purchased this VIZIO - 40" Class D-Series LED Full HD SmartCast TV (Model:D40F-G9SKU) two days ago and it was delivered yesterday by a very careful young man. The TV was easy to set up via HDMI cables to my Xfinity cable box and even connected an old Toshiba VCR/DVD combo player via HDMI as well. It took a few times to get the wifi to connect and after it did and after it updated the software, everything is working just fine. I adjusted the picture (color, tint, etc.) and the picture is fabulous. I am thrilled with this TV. I bought it to replace an 11 year old HD Vizio TV which was still working very well but wanted the latest and greatest tv. I will donate the old Vizio to the AmVets. I am now considering purchasing a 2.1 Vizio sound bar for this tv since it's on sale and would love to have one. I highly recommend this tv.

I love my new 40 inch VIZIO I am glad I made this purchase I love the picture color the quality and the price and it is so easy to use and I love the features I had my VIZIO put on my wall in my bedroom it looks so nice now I have two VIZIO televisions in my home I am glad that I made this great purchase

Easy to set up, very light and easy to mount on the wall. Only hassle with this TV is if you want to mount it on the wall. You will need special sized screws for the TV to mount it. You can find them at your local hardware store.

I waited several months before providing an honest opinion/review on the, VIZIO 40" Smart TV. This is such an amazing investment; it's thoroughly gorgeous and it fits perfectly in my armoire. High quality in crisp visual effects; hooking it up was Easy Peaszy; picture quality is superb. Amazing, professional, customer service representives as well. I use the remote control provided; my cellphone; an other social media devices to program it. How cool is that? All in all, I highly recommend The Brand and Smart TV.

We put this TV in our dog room. It’s great and easy to setup and the price for the size is great! I tried buying used but people wanted about the same amount for a non smart TV. This was definitely a better option.

This tv is everything. It is in my bedroom. And it is perfect. It was a perfect price and value.clear picture and great sound.

enjoying my TV the quality and picture is perfect love that I can hook it up directly to the internet . I especially love the remote as it has the separate buttons of all the things my family and I watch . I will definately be buying from best buy again. thanks again!

I almost went with a different brand when selecting a new tv, but glad I chose this one. Really easy to set up and move. I had an issue with connecting my cable box, and ViZIO's customer helped in about 5 minutes. So if you ever have issues with the tv, they're great at solving them in a timely manner.

Purchased this Smart TV for myself been enjoying it with all the special features my old Vizio didn’t have . Larger than old one as well , so this is a plus. Price $ of purchase along with all new features were the deciding factor for me. :)

Great TV for the guest bedroom can accommodate, Gaming boxes for the kids. And streaming for the adults plus free movies. So much of it haven't even begun to get into it. But I like it very much....

Love this smart TV! It fits perfectly in my trailer, and my husband really likes the VIZIO channel it comes with. I love not having to rely on cable, we use it for Netflix, amazon prime and YouTube TV.

I love the television it has a great picture very easy to cast to it. I've been telling all my friends and family about the purchase and great products that Best Buy offers.

Has done well switching back and forth between cable, apps, and screencasts. We are using it in the living room right now, but picture and clarity is great. Definitely a good budget television.

This tv has good picture quailty, I like the apps that came with it, but they should all be free because you bought the tv.

Tho I'm still getting to know my new 40 inch d-series vizio hdtv, I have to say I am impressed! Best television I've owned so far...

Very happy with this TV. I was able to set this up by myself.

The TV is decent for what you pay for it. But, do not get the open box certified, its a joke. It was supposed to be « professionally cleaned » and the tv came with the protection bag being in a ball in the box and the tv was so dusty and dirty. I am curious what the geek squad did not understand in the meaning of professionally cleaned... Cleaned it myself and still thinking about bringing it back to exchange it with a new model since the tv is very decent. The only minus I experience on that tv is when using a computer via HDMI, you can see a grid of white dots when the picture is a light color (see picture attached).
