I was looking for a low-cost, basic HDTV. This one is great. I bought a $39 Amazon Fire stick to make it a "smart" TV...frankly a lot smarter with the Fire Stick than most (all?) of the other smart TVs. Bought it at 8pm on Black Friday (after the morning rush) for $249. Image quality is great and on par with other HDTVs. So far I'm very pleased with the purchase.

We had previously purchased a 46" Vizio seven years ago.It was open box purchase and had an amazing picture.I used it for my Playsation and for general viewing .We were so impressed with 1st tv tahat when it did go out we had to buy another of the same brand.

Vizio 48" D series flat screen TV that has a very clear, sharp picture with all the features required to be fully integrated into a home system. If it does have a long, problem free life, it has so far proven to be an excellent, economical purchase.

This (non-smart) TV is absolutely great! I got it from BestBuy on Thanksgiving and there are no regrets. The colors are great, nice contrast on pictures, blacks are also well defined. Overall very happy with the TV. There's even an option to turn the "power" indicator off, so it is perfect to switch off all lights and get indulged in that movie completely :)

This TV is the perfect size for a larger bedroom, and has great picture quality. I am very pleased with it. The only thing that I don't like are the "feet" that hold it up. I would have preferred a "rectangle" base that supports the TV in the middle. Having the "feet" meant that I had to re-configure my entire TV support area in order to place the TV there.

This TV has a wonderful picture, great color, the internal audio sounds very good, better than other brands of flat screen TVs I've purchased. Only one negative comment is there are no control buttons on the TV, only the remote can turn it on or off.

I love Vizio products and I have always loved their TVs. This TV is totally fine for a bedroom but I wouldn't put it in my main theater room. Basic settings and only two HDMI inputs. I'd upgrade to a more performance based TV for big screenings.

Picked this up as a Black Friday/Thanksgiving weekend buy for 249. Agree with other reviewers that it needs 1 or 2 more HDMI inputs. Also, I don't agree with no price match during period. BB put this on sale for $20 less just a couple days later.

I had this as one of top picks for Black Friday shopping. Best Buy had 2 left in store in the late afternoon. The price was very good and I was able to use saved up cash for most of the price. I like to buy on line but that means putting all on a credit card. The TV itself is highly rated and works very well. I am happy with this purchase.

The Vizio D series 48 in HDTV is a very good set, with quality picture and is a great value. It does lack some features such as smart TV functions but you must also remember that it's price point is much lower than comparable sets.

I was excited to set up my smart TV after purchasing on Black Friday. Very quickly I realized that the TV is NOT a smart TV. The TV has a decent picture, and functions as it should, nothing particularly special. Easy set up.

Bought this on sale the day after black friday. I got the last one and I see why! Picure is great, sound is great! Better than expected for a TV this price! Wish it was a smart tv but didn't expect that for the price

I wasn't sure this TV would be the right fit for me and my Family. Boy was I wrong. I love this television.

Excellent tv for price. We have had product for 3 months and am very satisfied with image. I would suggest a sound bar the volume is not as good as I had hoped. I do have it in a bonus room so may be fine in bed room.
