I got this TV as an open box (though nothing was missing) and it was an outstanding deal. The picture is great. The only 2 drawbacks (which really aren't drawbacks for me personally) are #1) it does not come with its own tuner or traditional cable/coax input. I don't have cable anyway, I use a roku or blueray, or you can just use the built-in casting feature to send anything from your phone over to the TV. #2) the remote is very basic. The idea is, you download the app and then your phone is the "real" remote. Downloading the app took a while, it didn't seem to recognize my router at first. But it does have a phone-jack-style data port, so I connected that directly to my router and it seemed to do the trick. It might have simply needed to download an update to its software--as I said, the TV was an open box floor model. Once I did that, we were able to do the pairing process to the phone and unhook the cable. Overall, an outstanding TV.

Talked myself into a new tv and bought this at the recommendation of a store employee over another tv. The volume is quiet but can still be heard, just have to turn it up more than normal. I'm not overly convinced it is true 4k, but will check a few more things before I can saw either way for sure. The tv does not have a built in tuner (weird) so if you want antenna tv, an external turner must be used. All in all, even if it is not a 4k tv, it's still worth the price and a good tv. If this is going to be a primary or in a room with some noise, I would hook it up to an audio system. Other than that, no known complaints.

I got this tv knowing that it didn't have HDR and that it didn't have a tuner no big deal for me... but the screen resolution is worse than my current tv (47" 1080p Proscan LED from 2010) dark colors look faded... now it definitely works and not everything looks bad somethings actually look better especially stills or photos but as for gaming and movies it looks to be a downgrade... I would only recommend if you needed a 4K tv now and have the most minimal budget for spending... the chrome cast built in is its only saving grace

Thanks for the feedback. We would definitely expect our displays to provide excellent picture quality. We might recommend tuning the picture settings, as picture quality can be effected by several factors such as settings like brightness/color/contrast settings, and even the environment the display is being used in (Such as the lighting of the room). We would recommend trying a few different settings out, and if you're still having issues with the picture quality we'd recommend giving us a call at 877-878-4946 Monday thru Friday from 7am to 11pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 6pm CST. We also have Chat and E-mail support on support.vizio.com if you would prefer. VIZIO

This "tv" is essentially a monitor with Bluetooth. The only thing "smart" about it is the Bluetooth. It doesn't come with built in apps and you cannot get any. Anything you want to stream, must be streamed (cast) from your phone unless you buy a Roku or similar device. You also can't use local channels unless you buy a tuner. What TV should require you to buy a tuner? It also doesn't have the ability to plug in your cable unless it's by hdmi through your cable box. Personally, my cable box is in the living room, which is not where I bought the "tv" for. This "tv", for me is just a big disappointment.

Thanks for the feedback. This display comes equipped with built in Chromecast support. This allows you to still enjoy all of your favorite apps like Netflix, YouTube, Vudu and more, but more easily manage the content. You can find your favorite Movies, TV shows and other content from your mobile device and then cast the content to your display. This allows greater management and control of your content. VIZIO
