Been a Vonage user for quite a few years, but the original many years old box finally died, so I replaced w/ a cheap one from eBay. That died w/in 6 mos (didn't I say it was cheap?), so I bit the bullet and ran out to BB to buy a replacement at half of Vonage's online price. The box is relatively easy to change out, although I had to get online to Vonage support chat to register the new one. Also it is a little cryptic getting to the right page to register a retail box, and NOT order one from Vonage. As a service, Vonage is pretty good, although the price for unlimited service is starting to eke up towards the local landline service--but it is still less than what service would cost from my big Ccast provider, and has more features. One complaint is that sometimes I hear an echo on the line as well as a few stray noises, but overall I think it is less noisy than the staticy POTS line that really got bad when it rained. One other complaint is that if the box starts to fail, you will start to have dropped calls and other strange happenings, so be forewarned. My favorite feature from Vonage is the voice messaging transcription sent to you as email. The transcription is way superior to what Google Voice does--that service being pretty comical at times. All in all, I'm pretty happy, although I still feel like my internet provider is holding a gun to my head--if it goes down, I'm cut off and totally dependent upon a lousy cell phone connection at my house. At least Vonage will forward calls to the cell phone should that happen (and it does).

This was a replacement for an old Vonage router that stopped working. It was easy to set up with my modem and other wireless router. I was up and running only after a few minutes. Calls are clear and crisp with my Vonage service! I love it!

Easy to set up and when I needed help I was able to to talk with someone to resolve my fax line issues. Voice portion has been excellent.

This device is very reliable. I purchased it as a replacement for an old one I had. With the Vonage online setup it's extremely easy to set up and start making calls within minutes.

Nice alternative to traditional land line. Easy to install. Good performance. Economical to use.

If you've never used Vonage or had to setup a VoIP device ... you can't get much easier than this! Having bought the device, I had it up and running in about 20mins, most of which was Vonage authenticating and then enabling the Service Account. It was easy as can be. If you've ever heard the term 'plug and play' and pondered to yourself ... can it really be that simple ... in this case and for this product ... It Is!!!

I am one of the original Vonage subscribers. I had a trusty old Linksys Vonage device that doubled as a wired router. Well, lately some of our calls had been a bit choppy, particularly for the person on the other end. After contacting Vonage customer service, the rep recommended I upgrade to the current Vonage adapter model. Installation is a snap and it has greatly improved our call quality.

Device works great. Easy to setup and has performed better than anticipated.

Got Vonage to replace the Walmart home service which seemed to have voice quality issues when you used speakerphone. Vonage sound quality is better but I recently had to reboot the Vonage box for some unknown reason which was preventing people from calling me. It kept going to voicemail. The Vonage rep was great and helped fix my issue though. Have only had this for a month or so, so I'm not 100% sold on it, but still hoping it will work so I don't have to go back to Comcast Voice since that was much more expensive.

I have had vonage for over 10 years with about 3 calls for tech assistance. The first 2 times was for minor things (how to change the time), but the last time the box died. It was covered, but they had me buy it so I could stay up and running. Never have had a problem with clarity, all the extras that are included, and a flat rate make this a great deal.

This is my second phone adapter for vonage service, the 1st one was Linksys last for about 7 years. This one has one more port which require you to connect both PC and adapter then to router. The Linksys one you can just connect to router. The voice for this adapter is clear. So far I didn't have any problem. You need to activate the service and vonage will give you back credit if you are long term customer.

It was fairly easy to setup. I would prefer if I still had the old option of setting it up via the plugged-in phone, or even if the adapter received a DHCP address when initially plugged in rather than having the need to also plug a computer into the adapter just to configure it. But, overall it works well and was straightforward.

I bought this box to substitute another one that broke after 6 years of good use. I guess nothing last forever! It's working great and it was really easy to install (just plug in). The hard part was to find it inside the Best Buy store.

My prior Vonage box was a Linksys router combo. While the linksys was a great solution the Vonage box was much easier to setup. Good documentation and easy installation. Up and running in 10 minutes with prior established vonage account.

This is my second Vonage adaptor purchase on the same day. First I bought it in Wallmart and it was not working as expected after returning that one I bought second one at best Buy. This one worked well without any problem. I always recommend to buy it in Best buy to get quality product.

I had a Vonage box several years ago. I was satisfied with the way it was set up and functioned. The newer improved version is smaller and even easier to set up. I am living in South America and have found the unit to function well on 220 volts and am very happy with the service.

I've used several of these items to support multiple IP phone lines. They have always been easy to install and worked well. The only time I've had a problem occurred when the incoming Internet line was struck by lighting, which hardly reflects on the quality of the box.

I wasn't looking for a internet phone but saw it on sale for 9.99 and we needed an internet phone. Phone was easy to setup and the monthly bill is nice - you can also set up your cell phone to answer the calls.

I had an old PAP that was giving lots of static on both ports. Ordered this and setup was a snap and everything has been working great for about a month.
