2TB drive is going well so far.

I successfully moved over 300GB of data to the drive without issues and access to files have been relatively quick. Time will tell if it's a reliable drive.

High Performance Hard Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these drives to use in a RAID configuration, essentially writing the same data to two drives to ensure the data is safe in case of any unforeseen issues with either drive. The performance is really good. The difference is almost unnoticeable from the Solid State Drives I'm using for the operating systems on my desktop workstation. If you're looking for a cost-effective high-performance hard drive then definitely check this series of Western Digital drives out.

A solid and fast drive with ample storage

Large SSDs are becomming more readily available, but as of now there is no SSD with this type of storage anywhere near as cheap. So I would not recommend this drive as a primary, but as your secondary storage this will do just fine.
