I bought this to install in my gaming laptop and it ended up only being detected between 10-20% of the time. It may be an issue with the laptop, but after reinstalling it multiple times, there was no difference. I’ve tried others and they functioned properly. The only saving factor was I was able to switch the one I had in my ps5 and it seems to work appropriately in there. Very odd. It is possible it’s a Western Digital issue? It ended up working out in the end, so I guess that’s a good thing…

I know you dont get a full 4tb regardless of what brand you go with, but seriously, why advertise it as a 4tb drive if is missing almost 500gb of storage?

I'd advise to not get ripped off and just buy it somewhere else
