High capacity, high speeds, high quality! Overall a solid choice for a solo boot drive/mass storage drive. Or as a secondary, tertiary or even redundant drive if you have the money and desire lol. Can’t go wrong with the WD brand too!

Absolutely what I needed, slapped a heatsink on it and now the PS5 Pro is Happy

Got it on sale and have had no issues with the SSD itself. The only issue I had was that it didn't come with an M.2 screw to securely mount the card onto the M.2 standoff in my motherboard- so if you're planning on buying this, get a cheap little M.2 screw (and an M.2 standoff if your motherboard is missing that) or a heatsink for the SSD that you know will mount onto the M.2 standoff.

I bought two 4TB WD SN850x and these are very fast NVMe drives! They have great random read and write speeds and do not run hot on my motherboard. They average around 42c temps.

The performance has been exactly as advertised and has stayed fairly cool with a passive heat sink from my motherboard. I will likely be buying another for my second m2 slot as well.

Just added to PS5. 4TB model using the Sabrent PS5 heatsink. 6500 MB/s reported from the very fast format. Am downloading games to it now. No problem so far.

The SN850X line are really the best, most reliable gen 4 NVME drives you can buy. Western Digital did their homework on this design.

The SN770 & SN850X series SSD's from WD will work out of the box on a much greater variety of systems without firmware updates or other workarounds.

Its great for a main storage/photo drive. It does a great job and is fast in download and transfers

Fast and no hastle instalation, can fit anything I want and it reads stupid fast.

I placed it in my second M.2 slot and it works perfectly fine. No issues whatsoever. I can finally install more games without worrying too much about space! Would recommend!
