Used this to increase the storage capacity and speed of my PS5. It did not disappoint. When used with a heat sink it also helps the console run cooler

Fit great with the recommended heat sink, about 80$ cheaper than the on that come with a heat sink. Saved about 30$ overall purchasing both. Insignia""- Heatsink Enclosure for M.2

Works great, no issues. This is backwards compatible for older motherboards, using it with an older pcie v3.0 slot and it works just fine but it is a bit slower due to the bus limitations.

Upgrades from a 2TB Seagate drive using QLC. Totally worth the money as when a QLC drive is like 70% full they become trash. I am talking like 127MB/S read write.

PS5 has very limited storage, this gives you a little more, but not really a whole lot, compared to earlier game systems. No fault with this, but the ps5 factory storage is a joke.
