If a person was to buy a HDD without knowing what they were looking for, this is for you. The drive is quiet and reads/writes data fast for a HDD. It’s price and storage also proves attractive to most consumers.

I bought this to replace the internal hard drive in my PS4 because it was shot. Just followed a tutorial o YouTube on how to do it and it was relatively easy instead on having to bring it in to repair and paying more. My PS4 is as good as new now!

Customer needed a hard drive replacement in their laptop ASAP and Best Buy is always the place to go! They always have WD Hard Drives for the lowest prices and will price match if they don't! I always use WD hard drives as well for myself and customers since they are MUCH more reliable than Seagate hard drives.

I use this to store my photos. On occasion I forget to disconnect it as I'm turning off the computer - a no-no - but I haven't lost any of my thousands of important photographs. When I had a recent computer crash where I lost everything on its hard drive, even though this was connected, not a single file was lost. I highly recommend this product!

This is a nice drive that has a lot of room for the price. It is not as fast as the solid state drives but it is still faster the original drive.

This HHD was purchased to use in my ps3, it Was very easy to install. I had to go online and download latest firmware on a flash drive to install the OS. I would recommend this product, thanks

This is a solid device that is reliable for saving data and performing as expected. It is fast for a mechanical storage device with plenty of space. This is the way to go if Solid State Drives (SSD) give you doubt. Information can be recovered if there is a failure through data recovery services unlike SSDs.

Is a nice drive if you need a cheap price point for the storage space. I bought this to recover a laptop but the motherboard was having issues and was not the hard drive, so didn't need this drive

I've been replacing broken disk drives for my customers for 10 years. WD is one of two brands I have been using, usually purchasing whatever is on sale. I've never had a drive be DOA. As of late I've been noticing more failures after severall years of use with the other brand, so I'm leaning towards only using WD drives from now on.

Have only had it for a few weeks, but speed and performance are comparable with the original. I hope it lasts longer than 2+ years.
