My laptop crashed and I bought this hard drive, and my laptop is working like new! My laptop was slowing down and now that I got this new hard drive, it has not been slow :) glad I purchased this instead of buying a new laptop!

Western Digital hard drives have been an "Industry Standard" for many years. Quality, Performance and Priced Right! I used it to replace a Toshiba hard drive that failed in an Asus laptop. It formatted without any issues and, loaded Windows 10 effortlessly and very quickly!

Purchased to replace a dying 5 year old hdd on a laptop. An ssd wouldve probably been a better option, but for the price and the 1tb storage, couldn't pass up a good deal. Haven't had any terrible experiences with WD yet.

I got this hard drive to downgrade my laptop from Windows 10 to 8.1. It didn't work. When you put in the 8.1 disk it will not see the hard drive. I worked for three days and finally gave up. I am stuck with Windows 10 which I hate. All that is not the hard drives fault. WD makes a great hard drive.

Upgraded to this to double the hard drive on my old laptop that was getting full. Works good.

I love the way it instantly gets me more storage without having to take apart me entire computer and the storage space is perfect for my personal photos and documents.

It's a great value and a nice upgrade for older laptops that you don't want to get rid of. While the hardware is easy to instal (depending on your laptop model), if you are replacing your old drive you will need to re-install the OS so its not as easy as just replacing the hard drive.

Bought this hard drive to replace the bad hard drive in my PS4 pro. Was very easy to install. Instructions were very simple and easy to read. My ps4 works like a brand new system after having freezing and crashing issues.

Great HDD bought one for my computer and for my camera recording system. It has worked like a charm for me easy to Install as well

The laptop just quit shortly after giving a message that it was overheating. So it was interesting to hear it needed a new hard drive. I was a bit surprised that we replaced a 2 TB with a 1 TB, but truly, that's probably a lot more than what I need - - so I'm happy!

Bought this to replace a crashed HDD in my Lenovo ideapad. I was able to connect it effortlessly and it works flawlessly. Appears much quicker than the original one installed from the factory with the same specs.

Needed to replace my hard drive on 4 yr old laptop. This instslled easily and is working on my laptop. You will need to install an operating system which i had to also buy windows 10 to install.

My beloved laptop just up and died one day, so naturally I took it in to the Geek Squad pleading for help. After having it a day to diagnose, it was determined it needed a new hard drive. Reasonably priced, i authorized them to replace it and do whatever it took to get my laptop back up and running. Eric was a godsend... He put my disorganized system back in tip top shape using this HDD product. Its been working like a charm ever since. Good as gold product if you find yourself in need of it.

Previously had the 8gb drive which I was so pleased with, laptop was always on but never any problems. Oh but now the new 1TB drive opens a whole new world graphics really pop. Recommend all 8GB drive owners make the upgrade. Thanks Geeksquad for the transition help.
