Awesome! Everything I need for my laptop! Upgraded from 500 to 1 T

Great drive with lot's of space... not the fastest, but solid reliable storage, a good upgrade for my laptop.

I use these drives for external storage. Not particularly fast, but perfect reliability. I have a Mac, and the Mac required that I first format the drive. I use a cable USB interface, and as long as I eject the drive before unplugging it, the drive works beautifully.

I purchased this drive to use as a upgrade for my PS4 for more storage it boots fast and give me the storage need for my games.

A solid reliable replacement hard drive. WD Blues are my go to mechanical hard drive for basic everyday use.... Great for extra space. I put these in everything that isn't getting a SSD or M.2.

The hard drive migration tool worked very well and everything went smoothly. Of course, I had an external hard drive docking bay so I did not have to remove the hard drive until after the new drive was ready. Remember, memory and hard drive are the best upgrades for a laptop.

We went to Best Buy and got this hard Drive thinking that it was going to be difficult to install. When we actually put it in the computer it started right up and was able to install the is immediately and since then it has run exceptionally well for a hard drive at that price.

my laptop hard drive , was shot , had a couple choices , GEEK SQUAD suggested this up graded one , BOY WHAT A GREAT CHANGE , much better ! DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR COMPUTER , cause it's not that much , an if you have a protection plan there you GO !

I am pleased with this replacement hard drive. My laptop was damaged by a virus. The hard drive works well and I was able to install all of my software programs using the HP factory restore disk without challenges. Laptop is working great again.

This drive gives you the space to hold many songs and photos plus the operating system at a very good price

I got this 1tb hard drive for my Macbook pro that had a large hard drive as well but crashed on me after 2 years of use. This is great due to all my big photography and music files I store and as well as all my school projects.

This hard drive is working well for me, with no issues so far. I am using this model with an old laptop as email server storage. This allows me to receive frequent large emails without having to worry about storage limitations imposed by ISP provider or other email providers. Meaning I do not have to clean my emails frequently. WD hard drives have never let me down.

This drive is working perfectly in my desktop system I built to test Win 10. The small form-factor gives me the freedom to install it just about anywhere. The smaller HD used mainly for laptops have come along way as it runs cool and silent. If your looking for speed don't get this drive, though it operates quickly it is no speed demon but it is reliable,

Easy installation would have been nicer if software was included, rather than a free download performs well

I bought this as a replacement for my PS4 HDD (500GB turns out to be much less than it sounds like). Install was very easy and it was well worth the $60 price tag.
