I bought this drive to replace the internal HDD in my new PS4. Glad I did! The install was easy & I have ample room for my media files & game downloads. As always Western Digital is perfect!

I am 71 years old. This is my second WD disc product. The 1st was an outside 4TG disc, that I love it. This is for my Dell old computer. Very easy to do the installation. After load the information from my old disk I still have more that 1/2 more free space.

When an older laptop failed recently, I was able to get things back up and running with a new hard drive. The device fit the MacBook Pro perfectly, and actually provided an upgrade from the original 500 MB drive that came with it (and had failed). Best Buy saved the day.

So far I have not experienced any concerns for the hardware that had to be replaced in my laptop. I seem to have faster speeds as well. I feel confident that this product will do what it is designed to do without any future issues. Thank you Best Buy.

Great starting 2.5 HD. only Con is with the store's availability and options available not having it everywhere and only 1TB available only being option available.

Best investment I ever made and should have done it long ago. Has a number of features that I had been looking for for some time, It is user friendly and does the job quickly and efficiently. Do yourself a favor and get this great back up for your system today.

I upgraded my older but well functioning mobile PC from 250 Gb to 1T storage. The drive snaps right in. I happened to have a copy of Acronis True Image (any disk clone software will do) and was able to seamlessly transfer my system to the new larger hard drive in about 10 minutes. Lots more storage!

Price was very reasonable. Geek Squad advice was on point. This hard drive is very easy to install. (Depending on the model of your computer, the underside of my laptop has a very convenient cover for hard drive and I didn't have to take the whole back off.)

Super easy to swap this out for the old hard drive. Got a good deal and have not had any problems since then. The install is basically swapping the hard drives, and then downloading the PS system files onto the new drive. Then you can access the cloud and reinstall all your game save date. Then reinstall whatever games you had before.

Plugged it in, started right up, now I have plenty of stirred fir my security cameras

Buy it, get it in the mail, Install it in computer, set it up and there you are a good drive and a great place to buy. It works every time when you do it right. No waiting, just do it. Best Buy!

This was recommended to me by a crew member. I am amazed of how quiet and fast it works. It is not expensive at all and I feel as if I got it on clearance sale because of the price. I am very very satisfied with my purchase. This truly is the BEST BUY.

My computer was very slow and kept freezing up and the agent for Geek Squad at Best Buy told me that my hard drive was bad and i needed a new one. she replaced it and the price was very cheap and it only took 4 days to install. now my computer works like its brand new!!

Hey, folks - this is essentially the same drive the Apple store will charge you $150 for. I've had excellent fortune with WD drives over the years (not so much with another brand); this unit is basic, affordable, and a fine replacement for most home / small-office users.

Plnety and i mean PLENTY of storage. I store Starcraft and League of legends and tons of photos and apps so i can run it off there. The only severely annoying bit is having to sign into it everytime i turn on the computer. It has a passcode you have to setup to access it. Although afterwards, it just has you have to doible click it to open it everytime you log in so you can access whats on it. Wish you didn’t have to if it stayed connected to the same computer or laptop. But otherwise its good.

Another product that slipped past the search algorithm. My laptop fried the HD, so I wanted an SSD as a replacement. I had put in "SSD for laptop" in the bestbuy search engine, and this came up near the top of the list. The price was good, so I bought it. It wasn't until I went to install that I found it WASN'T an SSD - it was a conventional HD. Despite that, I kept it and did a fresh W10 install, and all went fine. So, it was my fault for not reading carefully enough, but I'd also task Bestbuy with refining their search engine so that it doesn't toss in these anomalies.

bought for a backup drive because the price was right and didn't want to wait for a online order to be shipped, drive works and fits fine in portable case,,, BUT wouldn't ya know it... the 3.5 drive went on sale 4 days after for 10 dollars cheaper

The disk is harddisk has come in very good sealed pack. Its thin and expected for my laptop. I have installed it and working seamlessly as expected. Its a good price and value for money.
