Upgraded a Thinkpad edge with this SSD and wow was i impressed. This made my laptop boot up in less than 20 seconds compared to nearly a minute with the HDD. I will be buying more again.

Works great. Has been removed a few times already for various reasons, and it works like a charm. Totally happy at this point. I do suggest that WD or others have some sort of frame to fity

Speedy drive for a good price. Installed on an older laptop that had a mechanical drive. The SSD gave new life to the laptop as everything (web browsing, productivity) worked much faster.

I am an Esports coach at a local high school. I bought this SSD to install in a older computer so that it would be more competent at playing Esports titles (Overwatch, Rocket League, etc). This gave that computer a new life. The machine boots up faster than I thought would have been possible, and load times for games are very good. The size of this drive might be a problem for most as 240GB is not very large, but if you are closely monitoring your installed programs it will be fine. SSDs work best and last longer when you can give them as much unused space as possible to move the data around on the memory to avoid overusing the memory modules.

Excellent value and enough storage left over for a few games this SSD will bring new life to your older system and boy it makes a big difference compared to an old HDD

My pc stopped working. Had Best Buy install new 240GB drive. The PC works like new, and all of my old data saved.

The drive itself is great. Fast and reliable. I'm giving it a 4 because the cloning software that is available, Acronis True Image for WD, is unbelievably slow. It does the job but takes around 3 times longer than Samsung's equivalent cloning software.

Had to do a complete Windows reinstall on an older desktop computer so instead I moved the operating system to the SSD. Runs faster and quieter. Was easy to do myself with a simple plug and play. Be sure to understand your bios settings and which slots your motherboard prefers drives in if you are going to keep a second drive installed.

Great price! It was easy to install and has been working flawlessly. A lot cheaper than buying a new computer.

My computer was processing very slow. After Geek Squad looked at they showed how all the information was processing at a slow rate. They showed me a graph currently running (they were using a tool/program they had). It showed how the computer was at capacity 100% . I was given two solutions, get a new computer or have them install this new drive. It has been amazing. Computer is running fast like it should. I can put off getting a new computer for a couple of years. Geek Squad is the best!
