Now that the new update for ps4 allows installation of games on external hard drives, I decided to get this one and it does not disappoint at all. Install all my games without worrying if running out of space... for the time being

attach via USB, it simply works, I have sold many as 2ndary server BU devices. quick, reliable and cheaper than NAS device.

I've used Western Digital drives for a long time, because they always prove to be reliable and reasonably priced. This 4TB My Book is no exception. It functions as a backup drive for our Point of Sale software, and it works seamlessly. The drive access is fast and reliable. I've bought WD because of the past experiences I've had with their drives, and I'll continue to buy their products.

I tried other hard drives to save my files, pictures, videos, etc but it wouldn’t work as well for my Mac laptop until I tried this one. No issues as of yet!

This hard drive is great. It is compact, easy to use and has a high storage capacity.

I purchased this external hard drive for the purpose of pulling pictures and possibly music off of old computers of ours. We have a MacBook Pro that is 10 years old that has crashed before and we didn't want to continue to risk the possibility of losing all of our pictures on that device. I thought this was reasonably priced for the amount of storage. I haven't used it yet to speak to its functionality.

It’s got a massive amount of space. The only downside is, if it’s plugged into the computer before it’s booted it’ll interfere and not allow the computer to start up properly. But you just plug it back in after and you’re good.

This drive is large, quick, and reliable. What more do you want from a backup drive?

Product was very easy to use and provides a great amount of storage for the price.

I've used My Book drives for years as external backup devices for our PC's, so when I upgraded to a new PC with USB 3.0 support, I upgraded the backup drive as well. This 4TB USB 3.0 drive cut the full C: drive back up time from 2 hours to about 30 minutes, and it is very quiet. The only nit I could pick is that they have eliminated the activity light that previous My Book drives had on the front.

WD-My Book 4TB has great storage and easy to use or hook up to your wifi.

The device was simple to set up and use plus it has the capacity I need.

Works Just Find. The only problem I had was my computer would not recognize the drive so I used AOMEI partition assistant standard edition 8.5 to format the drive and change from MBR to GPT. If left MBR it would only use 2TBs. After this it I hav e not have any problems.

BOught this on-sale to add storage for my PS4. Plugged in, was able to be seen and formatted with no problem.

Bought it for real time imagining. The software from WD is okay; but they give you a discount for Acronis that does exactly what I wanted. Win Win!!!!

Great product, easy to set up an use. Offers adequate storage space.

Easy to set up. Impressed with the time it took to copy over 1GB of raw photos. Works great and is amazingly quiet.
