Backs everything up effortlessly and seamlessly every day!! I can be on three different sites and there is absolutely no delay or drag when it kicks in to start backing up. And the best part is that I can unplug and use on another machine. Would highly recommend.

This is easy to use out-of-the-box but setting up the cloud part is a pain in the butt it kept asking me to sign up for different stuff to make it work so I signed up for it and then ask me for more stuff and I got tired of doing it. Just use as backup storage for your PC.

Wonderful, product. Have not had any problems yet. The only thing I would say, it was somewhat bulky and not very portable. It is meant to only to stay in place and not be moved.

perfect for Backing up entire computer. I make an image of my pc (several hundred GB) every Quarter, then make an incremental backups nightly (automatically captures all changes, since last image). If computer fails, I can restore from the saved image, and never loose more than a few hours work.

Great harddrive. Easy to set up. Makes my Xbox1 run faster.

I bought this as back up storage for my photographs and couldn't be happier. Its small profile fits nicely on my desk , and its non-physical features, such as the ability to put it into sleep mode is a real plus. It also comes with WD's suite of drive tools which work with my other external drives as well.

You get what you expect. These drives are great for backing up files, but access speeds are pretty slow so they're not good for editing video or housing video games that you're playing for instance. I bought two of them and use one for my main file archive and the other as a backup.

I will only by these drives since they have performed the best and lasted the longest in all my years of my profession. Seagate have never lasted or performed, the DVR we wanted to use this with wouldn't even take the Seagate one. Western Digital worked right out of the box. Western Digital and HGST are the way to go, both brands are WD.

Easy to install. Runs dependably. Great product!!!

I opted for a My Book 4TB instead of cloud storage. I've been purchasing WD storage solutions for 15+ years and I've never had an issue (and all those USB 1.0/2.0 devices are still functional!). I don't expect any less with this My Book.

This was a quick purchase based on the high satisfaction rating from other customers and the relatively low price. This hard drive has performed well and once I got over the learning curve , it has been trouble-free. One issue: There were no printed instructions with the unit, and so I had to engage in some exploratory activities. Fortunately, the hard drive is relatively simple to use. John

The setup was very easy, just plug it in and install the software from their website. I did run into issues when installing it the first time, but resolved that by removing the program files completely and re-installing the software. Since then I have had no issues. Very easy to transfer files to the drive. I even have it set up so my scanner scans straight to the drive with no issues.

External hard drive is very fast to transfer data. I am sure some of that is the computer too. The expansive amount of data that can be stored allowed me to store multiple years of sports video. As a coach, it was nice to have multiple years of games.

I bought this to use as expandable storage for my Playstation 4 console Like my New England Patriots, it does its job. I no longer have to worry about space and freely download whatever I please now. I reached capacity on the 500 gb console quick but now I have double the games and am still not even close to capacity. It's awesome!
