Very loud

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2016 iMac, own a WD My book prior to this one, use it as a backup now, WD - My Book 8T, out the gate sound very loud, depend what program your using, for example Final Cut Pro X sometime lag, Video editing takes a couple seconds to maybe a minute to respond, My Book 8Tb go silent for a while, when it boots up sounds like its struggling, remind me like an old drive from 2008, WD 2016 My book drive never sound like this, working with software programs using 4k videos.
