Useable even though it was not needed.

I have had pretty good luck with Western Digital HD. I prefer externals, due to the massive amounts of storage I need at times. I do not like filling my hard drives up on my laptop and PCs, so these externals come in handy.

EVERYONE needs to back up their files, photos, and music for when the unexpected happens. This portable HD is easy to use - plug and use. Highly recommend it.

Reliable but not intuitively user friendly

No written instructions as well. I've used Passport products before which had a better push through step by step process. So this not intuitive. However, I am not displeased w product and will continue to use it.

I bring it with me (as well as my computer) so that I can dump all my photos/videos somewhere each day so that I don't have to worry about space on my cameras. Great way to backup photos/videos!
