It's a hard-drive. It stores stuff. Mine was $5 cheaper because it was this color and not black. I guess sky blue doesn't sell well in the hard-drive market?

Works well. Connected to a DISH Hopper 3 for additional storage capacity. Hopper accepted it's installation quickly and has more than doubled the storage available.

Most inexpensive option for getting terabytes of storage in a small form factor. I bought this for data storage with a new Mac Mini I configured as a home server for music and photos. The Mini had a small internal SSD so I went with this to get plenty of data storage. My Itunes and iphoto media reside in it. I really like the USB 3 port because it matches the USB3 on the mini and gets me maximum bandwidth for fast access. So easy to set up. Just format with Disk Utility, then instant up and running. No special drivers required! Very happy, would easily buy again.

Needed to replace a failed Seagate drive. I have another WD drive that has lasted me a good while now, so went with them again.

This hard drive was so small it shocked us when we picked it up. We’ve had no issues with it. It also doesn’t require a power cord unlike our last one which ended up lost.
