This is the first time I have used an external drive. I have never needed this much storage space before but having it available ahs definitely help my laptop perform better. I store everything on this drive to keep my laptop drive from being overwhelmed. So far this drive has performed as advertised.

Bought this to add storagage to my Xbox one x because the 1TB internal drive it bring is not enough for 4K games. Has worked flawlessly. Easy plug and play and excellent performance.

Needed space on my PS4 for my games. Saw this online for a reasonable price and purchased. Now I can have more games on my system. If you're not looking to break the bank, i recommend this. Easy super fast set up and very compact and out of the way.

I bought 2 of these drives. One for backup and the other for extra portable storage. I have been using for these for over 3 months now and have not had any issues. I have also stored some videos on it and streamed wirelessly to a ROKU, no hiccups.

I always go with Western Digital when it comes to hard drives. After I had a few Seagate drives fail on me, WD has yet to drop the ball. The slim size of this unit is also great for sticking in a backpack or laptop case.

I love this new backup drive I purchased only for my PS4. Once I hooked it up, it initiated that it would be for game storage files. Easy to implement and sits nicely along side my PS4. Great if you ran out of space.

Perfect drive for the money if you need a little extra space. I got this one for my XboxOne and it is plug and play. I have Othet WD drives like this and they have been reliable. I bought two of these a few days apart and I will say I wish Best Buy would have adjusted the price as the product went up $10 for no apparent reason. It was a small concession to ask and they were unwilling. Won’t put me off from the company as a whole though, my experience has otherwise always been amazing.

This external hard drive is perfect for my needs. I have lots of files and pictures that I want to back up. I have almost completed back up and have hardly touched the free space on the drive. So easy to use too.

The 500gb internal HDD of my PS4 was almost full so I had to remove games before being able to play new one on discs. So I finally decided to buy this 2tb WD My Passport based on previous reviews. It works great so far. Recognized immediately by my PS4, waited a little bit to configure the additional space and enjoy! I haven’t noticed any lag when loading games from the external HDD compared to the internal. So it does the job great. And at a reasonable price.

I was able to make room on my laptop by putting my movies and pictures on this external drive. I have been able to take this on trips to have my movies with me. Also keeps my pictures safe and backed up.

This product was a necessity born out of a drive replacement. I was able to quickly backup my existing drive setting myself for a replacement drive. It was fast, easy and worked exactly as promised.

Fairly fast and reasonably priced. Size is also good.

I walked in your store to browse for an item and noticed this item was on sale. Ive been meaning to get a hard drive for my xbox one. I quickly looked online for the reviews on this product and noticed its a great speedy drive for such a great price. Had to grab it. Its a SSD but still speedy and large. Moved all my xbox games to my drive now my console runs faster and smoother. Real portable and small. Plugged to the back and it became invisible.

Really like my portable hard drive, good size for my needs, east to use and best is I can take it with me to work or back home, don't always have to carry my computer with me.

After reading reviews of various hard drives I found this one. WD has made a solid external drive with a small size and easy hook up. I would highly recommend this product!

I use this hard drive to store all of our important digital things and keep it in our safe. Documents pictures movies etc. It’s small and portable with a ton of storage.

I bought this hard drive because of its portability and ease of use. I was very pleased at what I got for the price. It is comparable to other items at twice the price.

I wanted at 2TB hdd for my macbook pro, but they didn't have the mac formatted ones available so I thought I'd grab this one (which was $10 cheaper), but formatted for the PC. I simply formatted for the mac (was very quick) and boom...it's now a mac harddrive. It works great. The startup and transfer speeds seem to be fast (I don't have any sort of tools to measure), but transferring videos has been VERY quick. This is my second Western Digital portable HDD (still use the other one for the pc) and this performs just as great as the only one. The only downside is making sure you don't lose the cable that comes with it. Cause if you do, good luck with having no usb3.0. Other than that....go for it!
