In my opinion, Western Digital is the only game in town. I'm pretty sure the IBM PC/XT I purchased in 1983/4 to replace my IBM PC had a Western Digital 10MB "Full Height" HDD. I'm stuck in a rut because I'm still using them today. I've never had a Western Digital HDD fail. Obviously it's a good rut to be in if you care about your data. :-)

I used this drive to back up my new computer after my old pc ran out of memory. This drive is fast and of good size for my use. It has proven to be reliable so far. I am happy with it. I did research on it before this purchase.

Plug and play. Very fast transfer speeds. Highly recommend.

The Passport 2TB offers plenty of external storage that is easily portable. It is also relative small (size of a wallet) so no more carrying around multiple flash drives. You can keep all important files in one place.

I am very happy with my external hard drive. It is small and light-weight. Compact and perfect for travel. I love that it has so much storage space. Perfect companion to my new HP which has SSD and not much memory.

I'm using this drive for backups as well as another place to store my pictures. It has worked flawlessly so far and is quick.

It is a pretty fast, reliable, and inexpensive external hard drive that I used to make a very basic cloud storage system. Quiet, cool, and hasn't had an issue yet. Plus, it was pretty inexpensive!

I bought the WD My Passport so that I could make more room on my PC, because all of the photos and videos were slowing it down (my PC is about 5 years old now). I backed up everything to the WD and it took awhile only because I had A LOT of stuff to get off my PC and after I factory reset my PC it started to work a lot faster! It's almost like having a new PC! Definitely would recommend putting all those precious photos and videos onto something external! You don't have to completely wipe your computer clean, but My Passport is great for holding all of those safe! It's, of course, password protected as well! I have another WD external hard drive for my MAC for the same reason! :)

I purchased this external HDD for my Playstation 4. Was easy to set up and has plenty of storage space at an affordable price.

This is a great sized/portable drive with USB 3.0 connection. At 2 TB it can hold a large number of files at a reasonable purchase price. Extremely portable.

For work I have multiple virtual machines (VMs - essentially running another computer operating system within my current computer) which I need to run for various reasons. This external drive allows me to keep the main VMs I need on a single drive while avoiding running out of hard drive space on my laptop. I am capable of running two VMs off of this drive simultaneously with very good response time. This appears to be a very durable external drive and definitely serves its purpose. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing additional disk space who has a USB3 connection on their computer. Price was good as well.

It's blue and it's super portable. You can carry it without a bag. It's crazy fast and holds a lot of information. It's a must have for the holiday season, or any season really.

This was easy to set up and has ample space for the Xbox games. Plus easy to take,with,you when your going out.

The delivery was great, the gentlemen who deliver the product were very polite and considerate. The LG TV was easy to install and the on-line video on un-boxing the TV helped prevent potential damage. Set works great, it is the 2nd LG flat screen and will probably buy more!

I was running out of space for my Xbox One so I got this HD. Great HD and great price! It was plug and play easy when connecting to my Xbox One. Totally would recommend!

Bought this to expand the storage of my Playstation 4 and it works perfect, now i have a total of 3 TB of storage for todays massive game sizes. You can also select to download games by default to either internal storage or this external hard drive. Worth the upgrade.
