    Although it’s read/write speed isn’t amazing (topping out at around 100mbps, averaging about 80), I bought this drive to store/play movies directly off of, and it’s easily fast enough to write 4K movies a very high bitrate (30mbps is the highest I’ve tried). Had this for about a month now with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend it for most purposes.
