    To tell you the truth I haven't done a lot with this hard drive so far. I did back up my music and everything went smoothly. I'm looking forward to filling this hard drive!

    Well hopefully this review will be useful to MAC users. I originally purchased this WD - My Passport 5tb usb3.0 drive. After I got home I noticed I did not grab the right box at Best Buy where they had two drives side by side in the Apple section of the store. This drive does state it will work with MAC's but you have to reformat it. I just did not want to wait around for a 5tb drive to format as it will take quite a long time. I was also concerned if there was anything wrong with the drive after reformatting, would BB allow it to be returned. Therefore, I ran back to the store and exchanged it for the WD - My Passport 4tb usb3.0 for MAC. I did opt to give up 1tb just for the piece of mind knowing the drive was plug and play.

    Works fine but it’s not 5 TB, it’s 4.54, meaning you end up with 4 usable TB
