So far so good, it's a little on the slow side, I expected faster backup speed

Works great from my purpose. I wish it was slimmer as its clunky when used with my laptop.

works well. fast. I use a Mac and no issues with Time machine backups.

Not great I could not download what I could heat so I stopped. Good to store

But...speed not the best .... if you rewrite files very often go for an SSD one !

I have had three of these EHDs go bad. One failed completely, and I had to send it off to a forensic recovery specialist to retrieve files. Two others that I already had have since started to fail on me as well. Would NOT recommend these for any files that you don't want to lose access to. I have since switched to the Samsung T7 EHDs and they have proven much, MUCH more reliable.

Purchased thisbto use for my steam deck and asusbrog when i dock them . Once thebrog ally release i set everything up plugged in thebdrive and got this clicking. Ran windows repair. Itvseemed to stop and finally find the drive. That lasted 10 seconds as it was lost again and clicked. Western Digital was great as the RMAed the device only note in waiting for the replacement as you have to send yours out before they send one back...

This is my on the road back-up drive for my laptop, small, speedy and large enough to back up everything.

The drive meets all of my current needs and seamlessly integrates with my system.

Good product, mediocre read/write speeds. Went with ssd instead

Picked this up to back put photos. Woks great, eazy to set up.

Idk what happen when i transferred a file from my computer to this HDD, there's a machine virtual crack sounds, hopefully do nothing and yea until now is nothing happended but if it does than that's your problem and i want refund cause it isn't human errors.

Haven't had much chance to use, but price was right

Lots of storage space, which is good, but its starting to make a clicking noise, and I'm having trouble getting it to connect to my laptop. Not sure whats going on, and may need to return it after owning it for less than a month.

I love this rugged external SSD with a wonderful 5 TB capacity. No complaints on anything

this drive is okay nothing special its very slow but its a very good price for 5 tb
