This product was not compatible with my 17" HP Envy

Plugged in the drive. It starts clicking. Doesn't work. Garbage. Thanks for the drive Best Buy! See you tomorrow.

Crashed after two months and the store would not replace it. Don't buy this piece of junk.

Didn't even last a year before it crashed and we lost all our files. Definitely do not recommend this.

The HDD stoped to work and I lost 3TB of data. Very disappointed.

Never used it it so it was returned. Gotta select a rate so that’s why it’s one star.

Less than 6 months in and it crashed. Device is lighting up but not turning on.

Stopped working and I lost my pictures and designs

Worked for a short while than stopped working. Will be returning it.

Returned it to the store and bought a 4TB that ended up working fine for me.

purchased june 6 2021 . august 31, 2021 the drive failed.

Impossible to work. Doesn't even back up deff not recommend at all

In the last three years, I’ve gone through five of these drives. Both the USB-C and the standard USB 3 versions all fail after six months to a year. I take care of my drives & they always are in an enclosed hard case when it’s in my bag and yet here I am now replacing the drive that I just bought in July of this year and it’s only December. My Seagate 5 TB drive, which i have three of, all have lasted over two years in the same conditions….seems to me western digital has now fallen below seagate in terms of quality.. Never thought I would say that. :,(

Happy this device was available for Immediate purchase and pickup. The staff were extremely helpful with the location and purchase of the product. The website had accurate information on the stock and availability at the local Best Buy. Installation and operation was quick and easy. Works well and performs up to my expectation. My need was immediate and it was great to be able to go to the local Best Buy and pickup the device that day, no waiting!

Easy to set up and works fine. Lots of storage. I think it's a better bargain than spending a lot more for the same amount of storage on an SSD.

Works great, good price, no issues so far (fingers crossed).

Great product, really easy to format if needed. Compatible with pc or mac. I just formatted and split it into partitions on my mac so I can use it for PC-related tasks if needed. Storage space is perfect!

Compact with great storage. This is my second WD-My Passport 5TB external hard-drive this size and I would not hesitate to get another one. Works much better than the WD-book hard drives.
