Over the years I have bought the 4 TB, Blue and Red, and the Black 5 TB external hard drives. I have never had a problem with them, just be kind to the drive and don't drop them. You might also want to place these drives on some kind of rubber pad to prevent vibrations, and or shock to these drives. Remember, they are precision drives...

I bought two 5TB because my old passport internally broke. I needed an extended storage for my ps4 pro and another for my phone/pc. So long as you format them to exFat I believe you will experience/benefit from it's super fast upload, reading speeds and worry-free plug and play on newer devices. I have stored about 2.5TB of games and they load up and run smoother, heck, even greater than the native drive sony offers inside the Ps4 Pro. Highly recommend this product!

Great product. The size is exactly what I needed and it was easy to setup. I like this one also because I can password protect my data.

Very reliable and easy to transport. I have backed up two laptops to this hard drive and have had no problems with connections or speeds.

Good value for the money. I needed to expand my storage, and this definitely fit the bill. From my experience, Western Digital drives do not give me the same issues other drives have in the past. Recommended!

I own several of these now. I've done full data backups on my computers with them, and also use them as portable file storage for a ton of CAD files.
