    This is a great backup drive. Works great for that purpose but I would recommend their desktop drives for daily use due to fast higher performance. This drive is more for travel and media storage or backups rather than heavy writing.

    I totally LOVE the Western Digital External Hard Drives. I've been using them for years, and they just keep getting better as technology develops. Each time I purchase a new one, they're small with more storage capacity. Ya gotta love it :) And I love that Best Buy carries them. I use Best Buy for all my tech needs!

    This has to be the best hard drive i've bought in a long time. It is way smaller than my old one and does not come with power supply brick which is awesome! I highly recommend this if you need extra storage. I use this for my xbox aswell.

    Better for Laptop backup or mobile photo backup. Currently also offering 500 GB WD cloud storage subscription for 1 year. Also provides recovery software with 1 year license. You need to buy type B to type cable separately if want to use in Mac.
