Satisfied with the product. Does what I needed it for.

My hard drive was close to full and so i turned to best buy and was delighted to discover this product (My Passport) Purchased it and unboxed it and the rest was good. One -thosand persent satisfaction.

As with all Western Digital products, the Passport is well designed and built. Size makes it easy to use anywhere and the included USB cable is sufficient. Was able to backup all files and folders with no problems. Was not able to get the WD to install but that was not an issue as I use Directory Opus, the most amazing file management software for Windows.

Very small and compact and has plenty of storage capacity.

Gives us relief that our important things are backed up.

This is what we needed for an external hard drive. it holds a lot and compact too!!!

This is my second upgrade to a larger capacity drive. I didn't realize that, by unchangeable default, the drive keeps five backups of everything. I backup my C: so there is a lot of data to store. Just something to keep in mind when deciding what size to buy. My only other issue is that it sometimes fails to backup. I'm not sure if that is a problem with the drive or the software. If I notice that it has missed a day or two I just do a manual backup. I've never had to do a restore from this device so I can't address how well that function works.

Easy to use, we use it for large media files. Works great, haven't had any issues.

Great storage. Good for the PS4. No need to buy an upgraded PS4 console with more memory.

Picked it up today and running a few benchmark apps and looks great so far. I own several WD SSD's and all have performed excellent so I'm confident this will as well. What I'd like to do is thank all of the outstanding service associates at Best Buy. It only took an associate 5 minutes to verify my purchase and hand me the package and I was on my way! Great job guys and gals during this covid crisis!

Plenty of space for regular full backups and it does it faster than my old drive. - One caveat that I saw a lot of folks having before I decided on this unit: It doesn't have rubber feet or anything to keep it from sliding if your desk is prone to this. I took a few rubber feet and put them on the bottom corners and it's perfection. Another 2 bucks, but it probably helps with cooling too!

It is small and compact. It make a difference when you have a computer ,TV's and Play Station on your table.

It is a very good option, reading and writing is quite fast and it also has software to set a password and thus have greater security for your files. It feels very good quality.

Ease use, excellent space I really needing. A good price.

This is the first thing that I had to use for my computer's shrinking disk space. I had thousands of photos. I needed a little guidance as to how to put my photos on and then find them. The directions were not at all clear. Once it was installed...a simple plug in, It was ready with more space than I will use in a lifetime! It is very easy to access my photos now as well. Good investment.

The storage is amazing and works very fast. I use this for uploading photos and keeping organized as a self-employed photographer. However, if you are using a Mac you will need set it up for Mac, which is easy, and will need a USB-C cable for ease.

Holds 5TB of data. Quick and Easy use. Smack in 4 TB in 2 hours and you're set. Bring that collection of movies around with you on travel or isolation. You'll love it for storing family pics or loads of data. However, I do not recommend for PS4 or holding data that you use often. GO buy an SSD. They're going down in prices so be patient and buy the next $100 2TB SSD for ps4 or wait for ps5
