Everything I wanted in a portable disk - decent storage at a decent price.

I'm satisfied with this purchase because it has plenty of storage to store my 4k videos that I'm editing because I got tired of running out of space on my laptop. In addition I use it to back up my devices. Get this if you don't want to worry about running out of storage fast

I like to about 30 days before I review so that I have given the product a work out. Been very happy with WD. Have 6 of these that I use for backing up my business data. I bought the 5TB because I was running out of room on my 4TB WD drives.

My Xbox’s internal storage wasn’t enough. This is a must need if you are wanted to store more games. I got tired of having to uninstall games I play just to make room for more. I can also bring this hard drive with me as it is portable and accessible.

I hope it is working. There isn't any light telling me it is on.

the unit works fine, but I am disappointed, that you have to utilize a work around to use it with Linux. I have not switched all of my computers over to Linux, and only go back to Windows, or apply when I have to. You can make it work, but it does not work as smooth as it should

I’ve bought this to expand the storage of my ps5 and it works perfectly for that purpose. Would suggest it for storing ps4 games that you play on ps5

My Cloud home 4tb is obsolete I need to find an external hard drive to recover my files from my cloud home. This is an excellent product for storing of personal files.

ransomware seems to be happening allot these days but with this i never have to worry about losing my files and pictures. provides peace of mind

Great external harddrive, easy to usr just neef plug and use.

Small, quiet, large capacity. Maybe not the fastest drive.

Works, looks sleek, & provides both USB & USB C connection cables. I always reformat my drives before I use them so I don’t ever have to deal with possible operation folders.

I have only just started using this drive, but its size and speeding ratings have been accurate so far. The metal(ish) casing definitely feels nicer than some other drives, but not as nice as some of the more premium ones. Overall, it's a very nice drive for the money.

I have had a number of external drives - both portable and desktop versions - and really appreciate the reliability and speed of this Western Digital Drive. We purchased this drive after careful research and would recommend this drive after a few times of use.

Still haven’t figured out how to use this on my new Mac laptop. Confusing software has made using it on apple OS difficult. Probably works much easier on older apple software and Microsoft
