When facing signs of an internal drive failing, I needed something to copy my data to that I could count on. As a computer business owner, I am familiar with and have used WD products for years, so this purchase was a no brainer for me, and Best Buy's Curbside pick-up made it all the easier.

I made this purchase to expand the memory space in my playstation 5 and it works amazingly.

This drive works good. Needed something to store videos. I have 2 more passport external drives but filled them up. This is my first 5 TB drive. I wish the transfer rate was faster, but it works well.

This drive is a really nice size for the large capacity. Transfer speeds are fast, and it doesn't require external power (like my last WD external drive of this size). Very happy with my purchase.

This is a great high-capacity, low-cost backup drive. The included software is all I need to perform system backups. An external drive is essential for system security, and I highly recommend this one.

Bought this passport to keep storage capacity on my desktop clear. I had a bit of a problem at first and thought that I would need to return it as it was not working, I finally figured it out and it works well for what I am using it for. Lots of storage capacity for the money.

I had purchased 3 of the 4tb from the prior generation this seems to be up to par yet had an extra terabyte. The HDD seems to perform just like it's predecessor, only time will tell if it can last as long.

Got this for my PS5. I have a lot more space. I'm hoping Sony will allow ps5 games to save and play on the hard drive though. I can save and play my PS4 games on it.

I think I'm sticking with Western Digital for these mechanical hard drives. I just use them for back up but I've had 2 Seagate drives fail in the past month, whereas my WDs just keep on chugging along.

WD has always been my to-go hard drive. Always dependable and reliable and I expect the same from this purchase. My favorite feature is the ability to password protect my data compared to most others.

I am genuinely happy with the overall performance of this device. Would recommend.

Perfect for gaming, works on my Xbox aswell as my desktop. Already recommended to some friends.
