We recently had all of our old video's digitized. With the size of the files and with not wanting to take up all of the space on home computer this was the best choice for us. Works great and fast.

I continue to use Western Digital/SanDisk anytime I need new or additional storage. I know HDDs and SSDs fail and at the risk of jinxing myself I've never had a failure with one of their drives.

This hard drive is great in all categories, lots of space for movies and pictures. I currently have my movie collection in it and using this as a media server on my computer using the plex app. Very satisfied.

It seems like Every year I have to add a TB of storage...my how times have changed when a 3.5 floppy disk held all my data. This one is great! Smooth to use and plenty of storage (for now).
