My daughter needed this for a media class she was taking . It was easy to use and worked great. It’s easy to pack and lightweight. Transferring pics from her iPhone is more of a challenge but it can store lots of pics and is just what she needed

Have been using for over a year to back up my MacBook Air. Very easy to use. I use it as one of several backup disks that I rotate in and out of my home so that I will always have a recent offsite backup. No problems.

This unit is easy to use... just play and play to get started and then just drag and drop photos from my macbook air and iPhone to the back-up drive. Very pleased with purchase... and piece of mind that I will not lose any of my treasured photos. :)

Bought in 2018 and it’s still working l. It didn’t crash once If you want your cash’s worth, purchase this product. You’ll love it! Dont question your purchase, take it from a customer, it’s worth it!!

I purchased this backup drive when I bought my Apple Mac Pro 13 during Black Friday2018. Geek Squad installed it and it works in the background without effort. It's plugged in through my j5create adapter when I have the system at my desk.

This is easy to install (intuitive) and get to work. I most especially like the fact that I set it to remind me of when to connect to update. Literally, this device has saved me from having to cough up some funds to purchase another system.

I purchased this as a way to transfer my information from one Mac to another and as an ongoing back-up device. It is very easy to use and works perfectly with Time Machine on my MacAir.

My computer and several of my computer programs have crashed on me while the WD passport was hooked up, and it’s never had any issue with losing any data or becoming corrupted. A solid hard drive that I will be purchasing again

Very easy to set up. Slightly larger than a pack of cigarettes. Bought it to get all the photos on my computer onto a seperate drive so when I upgrade, they're already stored elsewhere.

The WD 1TB 3.0 USB external drive is an inexpensive (but not cheap!) unit to provide all my storage needs for at least 10 years of data. And Best Buy brick and mortar is how I shop. I always stay with trusted supplier.

Great storage. The only problem is that if it falls and somehow wont work properly, GEEK SQUAD charges over 400% of the cost, to repair it..which is certainly insane. However, great product..dont make it fall.

If you have an apple computer these are perfect drives specifically for your Mac. I recommend these to my friends and family that aren't super computer savvy so they don't have to partition the general WD hard drives.

I was looking for an external drive to back up my Mac. You can't beat this brand, and the price was very reasonable. Works great with Time Machine. Gives you that extra security and peace of mind you need. Highly recommend it.

We use these under harsh traveling conditions and they work very well. This new design is ok. We dont use the Encryption and frankly that kind of stuff is a waste of money to me. I dont think anyone really uses that do you?

The Western Digital is top shelf external storage and this one is dedicated to Mac OS very nice can be password protected and runs very smooth, best in the business.

I bought this as an add on with my MacBook and a terabyte of storage has amazing capabilities. I can hold all of my photos and my important apps and I know it’s going to be quick and I know it’s safe and secure!
