    Couldn't be easier to use. Just plug it into a USB port on your Mac and it's ready for Time Machine backups. Plenty of capacity.

    I have used this a month or so. Made a backup of Mac OS High Sierra before upgrading to Mojave in case something went wrong. Everything is working well so far. You can back up files to folders on the External HHD like on any thumb drive, and Time Machine will make backups of your internal drive. I wish Time Machine could be set up to make backups of only the files that have changed that are stored on thumb drives, as it does for the internal drive. Time Machine seems to backup the OS files too.

    Works great for a backup disk on apple. However, better to use two in case one fails over years of use. Doesn't take up space.
