    I've owned several of the various WD Passport models over the years. All have worked as expected. I used this one to make a copy of family videos for my daughter.

    Very easy to use. I still store it after rash use in the original factory box because the wires get loose fast, and that’s with any brand.

    This unit comes ready to rock with Time Machine, or you can just drag-n-drop if you want to. I'm very happy and have already bought another one for a different MacBook.

    After connecting this to a 2019 Mac running Catalina it instantly recognized it. It was very quick and simple to set up to be used with Time Machine for back up purposes!

    Was not able to use old backup with the update to Catalina Os so had to purchase another. Nice small size, just plug in, took some steps to make sure it was backing up thru Time machine. Not a bad price but there will be a 5G on Blackfriday for $89. If only I hadn’t needed it sooner!!
