The hard drive has allowed me to secure a backup for several impossible files. I am extremely satisfied with this product.

So far it works good. I only put 4 stars as I have not used it or had it that long. It does seem slippery, that I honestly my only worry cause I have butter fingers.

So glad to have an external drive to backup my files. Great capacity will last me a long time.

I bought this product because I recently purchased aMacbook pro 8gb and the extra storage is much needed being that 8gb is not a lot of space.

Had to get one to back up my wife's iphone all the time. Her macbookpro can't hold all the data over the years for a 128gb data dumps.

I had purchased another WD hard drive that claims it was compatible with mac but it did not work for my computer. the setup for this one was pretty simple, device was detected in time machine and it was ready for use.
