I know nothing about transferring files to external hard drive never done it before but Best Buy employees at Elizabethtown, Kentucky Best Buy’s helped me pick out the best user friendly one with the amount of memory I wanted. It was easy and now I don’t have to worry about losing my photos:) Thank you Best Buy’s for all your help!!!

I previously had an older 1TB My Passport which worked just fine. I eventually returned this product.

I used the USB cable included and plugged it in. My iMac said to disconnect the recently added item that was draining the power. Which I did. I reported this to Best Buy but they have not responded with a solution. If I could plug it in, I still have no information as to how to use it.
