    I've bought a WD passport for Mac before and recently bought a new one so I can just have one for work. I love that there are two cords included that go into normal usb ports or the new mac ports. One of the first days using this hard drive though it was acting up and not letting me eject. I kept getting messages saying that it was being used by a program and couldn't eject but I didn't have any programs open anymore. This is what happened to my last one that caused it to crash and I was worried, but it hasn't happened again so hopefully this one will work better.

    The drive arrives in the box with a proprietary connexion to itself. Two separate short cables offer a USB (A) connexion to a computer and a USB (c) or third redaction of the Thunderbolt as Apple call it. Both work. The drive allows for a compatible format for Mac backup. It works with a newer MacBook Pro with USB (c) only plugs. So far so good.
