I tried to get it to work to transfer some receipts and photos on my phone. NEVER WORKED!!!!! I tried again today and still DIDN'T WORK. I didn't know that there was a time limit for a item that was worthless. Infuriated ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

We have not tested the drive on mobile devices or an android device. Therefore, we recommend you to move the data from phone to computer or vice versa using your computer. It froze asking for the password, and no matter how many times you put it, the drive never gave way. The worst part was to remove the software of the hard drive from the computer. A total nightmare. Stay away from it. Go Seagate.

It requires a software download and did not function as I thought it would. Returned it and purchased a more expensive smaller capacity WD Ext HD . It works perfectly.

I bought this hard drive back in September 2021. This past weekend after less than a year, the hard drive stopped booting up. I now have to send in the hard drive to a data recovery center, who quoted me up to $3900. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get a solid state drive. If you do get this drive, back it up to another location at least weekly.
