I wasn't compatible to my Mac. I live out of town and by the time I got back to the store, the warranty was gone.

Not happy with this purchase. Did not work right out of the box on my MacBook Air M1. Called WD and they did some diagnostics and said I should return because it evidently was defective. Changing to a different brand.

Slow and unreliable; I do not recommend this product. The large capacity is worthless when it takes so long to write. This is the first hard drive that has corrupted on me in about 15 years.

It IS NOT compatible with MacBook Pro! The micro b cable DOES NOT fit in the external Hard Drive!

Thr acual drive is some weird onld usb port and it goes to regular usb that then had a usb c dongle attached to it

Perfect Drive for my Mac

I got this as a backup drive for my Mac. I needed plenty of space and speed. My Passport delivered and backed up my files in a decent time and has been quietly and efficiently backing up for me ever since. No problems with it whatsoever. I'd definitely recommend it.

I wouldn't buy it if I knew it! Very slow drive and always get plugged and unplugged for no reason. I dont recommend it at all.

This is the third WD Passport for Mac I have had. Each had given up the ghost in less than 60 days! DO NOT waste your money on these.

This has been nice for what it is, but I do wish that it would have explained that I can not store PS5 games on the whole 4 TB. Only part of the device can store PS5 games compared to PS4 games. If it were included on the box, I would need an internal hard drive to fully expand my game storage for strictly PS5 games
