Glad the employees directed me what to do with my laptop too.

I had to reformat it because this is NOT compatible with Mac. Make sure you are aware of that. And the compatibility program or app they offer is too complicated.

A very handy portable storage

I always fear that some disaster will wipe it out so that I look for very reliable backups to store it away in a safe place where I can reach it or travel with it. My Passport Ultra 2TB fits the criteria.

My Passport

Portable hard drive and softwaresoftware

It pops up and causes my computer to have to be rebooted. So just use it to back up but not autoback up. I may not be operating it right but it's a pain.

Very Sturdy and a good size

Great decryption/encryption program, easy to customize and use. Good value for 2TB of data, hard to beat the price/storage. Would definitely buy again, but I know I won't need to because of the tank like qualities.

Fast & Easy

I have a Mac and was able to split the drive between Mac/PC very easily. It connects with a usb-c which is good for me and downloads ultra fast. Western Digital has been around for a while and a brand that. I trust.
