One star only because there isn’t an optuon for Zero stars. Between the cost of the microwave and the 4 tech visits, PTO and time on the phone and on chats with no luck on this LEMON microwave. Where do I begin. This microwave replaced a lrevious Whirlpool microwave that stopped working after 6 short years. Installed in August. In Spet it stopped working. Needed a “fuse”. Then the turntable didn’t work. And so on. Lots of texh time and speicalty support. Lets not mention the cabinet damage from removing and replacing a microwave 5 times since August. What a complete disaster of a product. And the company itself has a polciy that they will “fix” it. Well they have spent more $$ fixing it (not yet) than it’s worth. I have no confidence in such a shoddy product lasting at all. I asked for “lemon” replacement. Nope. Good luck getting anyone to speak to as well. But you can”chat” for hours with no luck at all. I asked if someone could call me. No sorry. Proably the worst company I’ve dealt with honestly. This is not a relection on Best Buy but when you hear “Whirlpool” run!!!!

It is much deeper than my old one so I had to rework a cabinet door to get it to close. It heats very fast. We are still trying to get used to the settings. I wish they gave us a template in the box instead of on the box to install it (you have to cut it out).

The microwave works fine - purchased in April 2025. This review is for the installers (XPS Global is the company name) and Best Buy customer service. The installers caused significant damage to my kitchen cabinetry when they forcefully jammed the new microwave into the space (and I measured several times to ensure fit before buying) and they broke the trim on an upper cabinet. They slapped some putty on it and called it “good” (and proceeded to blame the builder of my 8-year old house that they shouldn’t have added cabinet trim!). I was BEYOND upset because I later found they didn’t even install the microwave straight AND also split the wood on the interior of the cabinet frame. Went to the store, they just gave me the CS number to file a claim because I paid for a 3-year warranty. I filed the claim in February, but no one has called/emailed me. I have called back multiple times and the CS people keep saying “We’re backlogged but we’ll escalate this and someone will contact you in 24-48 hours”. It’s been nearly two months since the installation and I need this repaired so I can sell my house. Meanwhile, I’m still making payments on this microwave. I will NEVER allow those installers back in my house again after what they did and fully believe they need to be held accountable! My cabinet guy that I used in the past was ready to fix the damage, but of course Best Buy said they won’t reimburse me unless I get it fixed through their claim process. Absolutely bonkers since they haven’t done ANYTHING for months to move this claim along. Buyer beware, Best Buy does not care one bit about making things right and fixing the damage caused by the people they hire. They just care about taking your hard-earned money.

It definitely needs light up buttons at night and also it takes too long to enter the time.
Not enough quick speed number settings. Also potatoe settings is not that user friendly, I liked my GE much better.

We really like the Whirlpool microwave, it has alot of features. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is a little noisier than our last microwave, other than that it has been great and no issues.

I'm Very Happy with my new Whirlpool Microwave. My old microwave was beginning to be Unreliable so I decided to replace with a new one when Best Buy had a great sale on.

This microwave looks great. I love the Fan that comes on automatically. and the light that shines down on my stove.Love it!

The microwave works great. It has less options than our previous microwave but we could not find a whirlpool with those options and we wanted our appliances to be the same brand.
