However, we noted that it sounds a bit louder than we expected, the door shuts a bit rougher than our other unit, and the motor is on the right side and the sound can be alterated by gentle finger oressure in that area.

Never had a moments trouble with it. Expect the odds are this one will give reliable service. The unit looks and mostly functions the same as the unit it replaced. Just like old unit fit and finish is very good and the performance is identical.

It is very thin and will break off eventually. This is my third one and have been very happy with the product.

The only 2 negative remarks I have are: The tone when it’s done is annoying and you can’t select between different ones, it plays some sort of chime 4 or 5 times and the only option you have is to turn it on or off Second, the clock color is a blue that is too dark, it needs to be a little bigger and brighter so that you can read the time from across the room, this setting can’t be adjusted to make it at least a little brighter. Other than that it’s a solid unit
