The microwave is good and so far working pretty good but the problem is the fan/vent attached to it. It is not strong and many times the smell of food is spread all around the house. It is embarrassing when you have guests in the house. The smell of the cooking gets trapped in clothes and the hair of everyone in the kitchen.

Very nice unit for the price, easy to install and to operate.

Pros:Good wattage, stylish, sleek Cons: interior is gray & interior lightbulb not very bright, cannot see from outside to inside to check on cooking process. Undermount light is placed to rear of microwave instead of front or center.

Whirlpool is the best brand for all your kitchen appliances.

This microwave makes even fast food fries, leftovers, etc. taste VERY close to fresh, also my dad put butter with aluminum foil and it sparked up but did not blow up and still works great!!!

Works great until it doesn’t. We bought 1 only lasted 1 year & we bought it again and it stopped working after only 5 years.

Cooks in half the time of my old one. No burning either.

Worse than poor. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this microwave or anything Whirlpool for that matter. We purchased same microwave in July of 2022. We have had 4 service calls, each time they come out have to order a part and its weeks before they come out to install and the microwave still doesn't work. Just called Whirlpool again and they informed us it is no longer under warranty. The unit is garbage and they won't replace the unit. At the same time we purchased a Maytag refrigerator. Have had at least 4 calls on the regrigerator; same scenario. Doors do not line up evenly, doors swing fully open (not level) and all they can say is there is nothing they can do about it; no way to level it to prevent it from happening. Amazing I have same refrigerator in a different location and now issues. The company they have servicing their faulty equipment are rude and could care less if they fix the product.

This microwave is average. I have had it for about 1 month. It cooks well. It is loud when in operation. The fan is very loud. The product is just OK.

The microwave looks great but the door hinges were damaged. We went through so much trouble to get this microwave because it was out of stock, then had to pick it up and now we have to go to best buy for the third time to return it. We already drilled through the cabinet and the wall to hook it up. Not to mention we lost so much time.

The Whirlpool 1.9 cubic foot microwave lasted 4 years and 1 month with lite use. Should have lasted 8 to 10 years.

Microwave was okay until the passed 2 months. Sensor cooking hasn't worked since day 1 so never have known to miss it. However, now it says door is open when it's not. Found after many times of hitting factory reset it fixed it. Unfortunately, that lasted only a few weeks. Being quarantined for 3 weeks with kids and no microwave has been challenging. I've checked all three door switches and the fuse but all tested fine. So sad to have to invest in another microwave when this was only 2.5 yrs old. The one it replaced was 18 yrs and never skipped a beat. But I just had to be fancy and get one over the range. Urgh. Won't buy another Whirpool, looking on line Whirlpool microwave door switches are known for going out. Just wish that was my problem!

replaced like for like of a microwave that failed after only 8 years of home use. But didn't want to have to re-work my home to fit a different model over my range

Mine lasted about 9months and quit heating. I couldnt find the reciept as I paid cash for it.

This microwave came with my brand new condo and after only three years of use, it has stopped heating anything up. I contacted Whirlpool and they sent over a repairman to check it out and it turns out that the cost to repair it would cost more than a new microwave. Beware, Whirlpool makes junk microwaves. All the good reviews have only had it for a minimal amount of time. Microwaves should not break down after only three years.

Two years and a few months since purchase, it's throwing a humidity sensor error. The part costs a few hundred so this microwave will need to be replaced far sooner than expected.

Not what I expected, it is much slower than the GE that I had before. Also makes more noise than my previous one.

Bought in July and it is now December. The latches stopped holding the door shut and the sensor for when the door is shut does not work. After getting this fixed the display and buttons are no longer working.
