Our old washer recently needed repairs. Our home warranty company decided not to repair it because it was too old. They offered many replacements, including delivery, or they would reimburse me if I purchased one on my own. They offered a Whirlpool washer as a free replacement or the cash value paid to me. I always search Best Buy before I purchase any appliances or other electronics. I found the exact same washer at Best Buy, that was offered by my warranty company. The washer, including delivery and setup, was $55.00 less at Best Buy so I gladly bought it. The washer was delivered, set up, and the old washer hauled away within a couple of days. The warranty company thanked me for saving THEM $55, when they sent the reimbursement check. I am quite pleased with my purchase and as always, my transaction with Best Buy was totally awesome!

My first time buying from Best Buy appliances and was not disappointed.I received excellent customer service in store he was very knowledgeable concerning the washer.The day and time frame was on point. The delivery men were very friendly hooked it up and went over installation and usage.I am very satisfied with purchase and will tell my friends and family to go to Best Buy.

This machine is a bit noisy for my tastes, but does a good job overall. My clothes come out clean, it's efficient, and I haven't lost anything in the washer as of yet.

One week in with this washer and already had to have Geek Squad come and look at it. When on the spin cycle the thing looks like it is going to walk away. This is the loudest washer I have ever had. The agent also found other issues with it, the lid only locks sometimes not when it is supposed to. I was able to exchange this for another washer...of a different kind. Grateful for that! If you live in an apartment I wouldn't recommend this washer if you want quiet.

I purchased this washer along with the matching dryer. The decision was based on price and at this price it was the best value compared to other brands in this price range. As long as the belt does not break I will be happy. The salesperson told me that all of the lower cost units are pretty much throw aways if they break since the service call will cost as much as a new unit (not including downtime). In looking at the all of the options at this price point you cannot go wrong with any of the brands. You just need to make your decision based on price and availability.

I called four days in a row with service people offering to call me back but they never did. So some days I called 3 or 4 times. Ultimately had to go to store and demand a service person to come out and assess machine. The GEEK squad !!!!! showed up and suggested I up grade as although this machine had not been installed properly (they balanced it as was not done) it is noted for it's loud vibrating, The vibrating and loud noise did abate somewhat but certainly not gone. According to Andy Huggins this machine is a middle of the line popular washer. Was this a lie? I assume so. As it turns out I was told by Best Buy he wasn't at work (for those 4 days) and when on the fourth day we showed up at the store there he was working. We had to deal with the store manager who arranged the service call. I will never shop at your store again.

When I moved into my condo in 2007, I noticed my antiquated washer and dryer unit. I told myself in the back of my mind, one day I will change them out to the latest and the greatest as they were already 22 years old. Well, this past April, my washer and dryer began to begin to do strange things with in a week of each other. My washer started to rattle loudly during the spin cycle and the dryer would take 3 cycles, each of an hour, to completely dry, even when half full. Decided to take the plunge and get a new washer and dryer for my condo. After some research, I decided on the whirlpool brand, and opted for a matching washer and dryer set. I could not be any happier with the entire experience, including installation and haul away, and my new unit. Everything was seamless and I now do look forward to doing laundry 2 - 3 times a week.

This is a good lower budget washer. It does the job and is dependable.

Delivered on time and works like a charm. Would definitely recommend.

I have owned several Whirlpool products in the past 15 years and will continue to buy more. This is a great washer for the money and it's worked flawlessly! Clothes are clean and no problems. So easy to use even my kids can do the laundry!

I had a front load with lots of extra bells and whistles. When it broke it cost a small fortune to fix. I was looking for something a little less complicated. I got this for the same cost as the repair on my old one. I hope it works out.
