    After the whirlpool duet dryer FINALLY died and I was tired of changing the element, thermostats, and other electrical components, I decided to purchase new. It matches well with my maytag comercial washer, HOWEVER the capacity is not big enough and some items do NOT dry thoroughly (king comforters or a pure towel load) The steam for refresh, and for wrinkle guard works MUCH better than I thought the idea of adding water to a dryer would. This dryer does have a learning curve and I'm sure I won't figure it all out, but I'm happy with the sale price I paid for it.

    Our dryer bit the dust after 15 years. Repair vs buy, too much to repair for the age. We just replaced the washer 5 months ago & wanted the matched dryer with steam. Shopped everywhere & couldn’t find what we wanted due to COVID-19. Delivery would be August & this is the 1st of June. Wife wasn’t happy. Shopped Best Buy online & drove the 60 miles to Mobile, ordered & had the exact dryer she wanted in 4 days. Best Buy appliance manager was extremely helpful & even personally called me with updates on shipping. I’ve been a long time buyer at Best Buy on electronics etc... They’ve earned my appliance business now as well. Job well done!

    Excellent dryer. Gets cloths dry in one cycle. The steam feature is great if you just want to freshen something up that doesn't need to be washed. I bought this to replace an LG dryer that we had for years. It was good at first, but then started requiring multiple cycles to get things dry. This Whirlpool Dryer has been excellent.
