This washer has made my life so much better! I wash my king size blankets and they come out so clean. I wash large loads now and save so much time one laundry. The soap dispenser takes a little time to get use too, or maybe I am just use to really old machines. It is so quiet, my last machine sounded like a Mac truck coming through the house. This is a great buy and I recommend it to anyone with a house full of kids and animals. It will amaze you

We own a Cabrio washer and dryer but rented a house that already had a w/d included. Our 2nd week in our new rental had the washer clunking around the garage and smelling like an electrical fire. We decided to replace the rental washer to this one which worked out great. It's much bigger, so we can wash blankets and even our towels without any clanking. The push button panel is so easy to use our kids do their own laundry. We are very satisfied with all of our Cabrio products. They are great quality that last and do a good job.

I'm content with this washer because it is extremely easy to use (my parents and young siblings love it ). I'm a little bit of a germophobe and I like that you can put the washer to self clean after washing bathroom rugs and things like that. Last for me but not least, it's very spacious so washing comforters and huge blankets is not such an annoyance anymore.

Wanted to buy a washer that didn't break the bank too much. I wanted the exact features thwart this washer offers, such as no agitator, detergent compartment, energy efficient, etc. I have to say, I'm very happy so far. It is quiet, works right, can't complain. Bought this to replace a Samsung, which I had problems with almost from the start. Very happy to have a normal functioning washer again!

We had a front load and it died. Due to the last minute purchase, we had to go with a top load washer in order to get the most bang for our buck. I was a little unsure, but I’m glad we did. It is HUGE. Even with leaving the space in the middle to allow for agitation, it does at least the equivalent of 1.5-2 loads worth of my prior washer. Everything comes out clean and fresh, and the clothes are nearly dry from its incredible spin cycle.

quiet, efficient, effective. love the variable wash/rinse settings. length of wash cycle display helpful. great improvement over my last "high efficiency" washer. Deep water, pre-soak settings also a welcome addition to settings. Have had for just a month but we have used all cycles for a multitude of loads and are quite satisfied.

Absolutely love my new washer. I bought the set and my time doing laundry is cut in half. The capacity is plenty large enough for my king size comforter. The controls are great, it's quiet and quick.

Was a bit worried after reading some of the negative online reviews. However, my experience has been nothing but positive. This includes the initial sale (Jerry Nuckolls does a great job), to delivery, installation and operation. Some reviewers complained about how little water these use. The lid locks after the cycle starts so I have no idea where the water level is. I do know the clothes come out clean. Wife loves it so I'm all smiles for now

Stay away from Whirlpool - Cabrio

I have a small family of 3 and had just moved into a new home. We needed a new washer and dryer set so after a little investigating we ended up going with this Whirlpool - Cabrio set. Bad move! Our washer is 1 year and 8 months old (almost still new) and it will no longer complete cycles. It just locks up into a fill / drain cycle. It started about 2 weeks ago on laundry day, after a normal load of laundry and the washer started sounding as if it was destroying our upstairs and making a buzzing / grinding noise. The whole house started to shake. My wife and I ran up stairs to see what was going on only to find our washer destroying itself. The drum inside the washer was so out of wack it beat / bent both side walls on the wash out a good 2+ inches. Water was going everywhere. We both raced to turn the hot and cold water lines off and kill the power to the washer. The washer was upstairs over top our great room in a log cabin with all wood floors and ceilings. If we would of been outside or something, this could of been a flooded home situation. We ended up getting the clothes out of the machine and I fired it back up to see if I could get it to drain. We were successful with that at least. All the water drained out no problem as long as I started it in the special rinse and spin cycle but turning off the rinse function. I let the washer sit for a day with no power to the machine. I fired it back up and started to test it to see if I could get it to perform any cycle functions or to see if it was shot. Low and behold this machine is toast. It now makes a loud buzzing noise and will not engage the different cycles it should go through once you start a load. It sticks on the fill up and will drain the refill over and over. It literally will do it all day long. I have never seen or heard of a washer destroying itself the way this thing has done. I'm happy to post pictures if anyone would like to see. Anyway the long and short is this was not cheap, not the most expensive either but for a family to spend this kind of money on an item and get less then 2 years out of it is just horrible. The machine has worked limited dutty, just blows my mind that this occurred but in reality we were lucky. Since we were close by and was able to stop it before it distroyed our laundry room or worse yet flooded our home. The pics are after I pushed the sides back in as far as I could get them. If this washer has any protective sensors on it to stop it from vibrating itself to death then a new kind of sensor needs to be used in the future.

I'll start with why I only gave it four stars: White lint left on dark clothing. Given that this is my first experience with the open drum-style of washer (all of my previous washers had a center agitator) I struggled with this for the longest time. I finally found out that if I increase the temperature of the water, used the deep water option and added a rinse the amount of white residue left behind decreased significantly. But all of that kind of negates all of the water and energy-saving selling points. That said, this machine works great in every other respect. It's a great value for the price I paid. Superior washing quality, easy to use controls, and relatively quiet other than at the beginning of the cycle.

Very happy with this washer. The book explains the different cycles very well, and in no time the settings become second nature. I did switch detergents, as I found all HE detergents are not created equal. It's so quiet you barely hear it running. The capacity is amazing. What a joy to be able to do twice the amount of laundry in one load. Would not hesitate to buy this brand again.

The dimensions are the same as my old washer, but the capacity of this one is double that of the old one. It is quiet, clothes come out very clean and dry. It is a perfect washer for our family of 5. If there is something more I want, it would be a way to check how hot or cold the water is for the various water temperature settings. With the lid closed, there is not a way for me to tell how hot is 'hot'.
