A Gorgeous Budget-Friendly Flagship Contender

Hisense has rapidly caught up with leading flagship television manufacturers with its more budget friendly line-up of televisions that doesn’t fail to impress. The 75” U7 Series Mini LED QLED TV checks all the boxes and most importantly looks spectacular with its giant screen packed with cutting edge features.
The TV has superior image quality with an anti-glare coated, though still pretty glossy, Mini LED QLED 4K display. Impressively the glass is free from distortion, banding, dead-pixels, or light bleeding and features 3,000 nits of brightness with HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos support. 3,000 local dimming zones make the TV’s blacks look almost as good as an OLED TV. Support for a 165Hz-fast refresh rate is perfect for gaming and AMD FreeSync support assures a screen-tearing free experience. Ultra-low latency input, Wi-Fi 6E and Ethernet connectivity, and HMDI 2.1 support help you not miss a beat.
Built-in TV audio is very impressive with 2.1.2 channel sound that supports Dolby Atmos! The TV even has a sub-woofer built into its back, a first that I’ve seen. GoogleTV support allows for ultimate connectivity, but a Google Account is needed for setup and use. For users preferring Amazon and FireTV Hisense also makes a variant with the TV Amazon FireTV based, but I prefer Google for more third party support through the larger Google Play Store.
The downside of this TV is that it is a very thick and heavy panel which surprised me. I’m guessing that by not making all its components paper thin, this allowed Hisense to pass the savings onto the consumer and offering these TV’s at a lower price point than its competitors. The TV weighs 63.9 lbs without the stand and made me rethink wall-mounting it (even though most mounts can support up to 110 lbs). Its included sturdy stand holds it up well enough though so I have no complaints.
To be honest I wouldn’t have regularly considered Hisense a top tier manufacturer of televisions, but this U7 Series TV has changed my mind, and I highly recommend checking it out for yourself!
Pros:
- Trades off thickness and weight for a more affordable price point
- Does not skimp on features and specifications
- Built in 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos speaker and subwoofer
- HDR10+, HDR10, and Dolby Vision HDR support
- Gorgeous MiniLED QLED screen with 3,000 nits brightness
- 3,000 local dimming zones for beautiful dark blacks
Cons:
- Thick screen profile and heavy weight at 63.9 lbs compared to other TV’s its size

This TV is absolutely phenomenal. The blacks are deep and dark inky blacks, and the brightness is insane. Whether it’s in a dark remote or a brightly lit room with windows, it will blow you away. This TV has almost no ghosting around brightly lit objects next to a dark background; it feels like magic. The antireflective coating is fantastic. I’ve had mini LED TVs before, and this one blows them out of the water. This TV looks better than my 3-year-old OLED TV. I still can’t get over the colors it can reproduce and the level of detail it preserves. Every time I have turned this TV on for the past few weeks, it has always pleasantly surprised me with how good it looks. The speakers also really surprised me; they sound better than some soundbars I’ve heard in the past. Gaming is amazing on it as well, especially with the high refresh rate and gaming modes. This TV outdoes pretty much every other TV I’ve seen in its class. You won’t be disappointed

I'm blown away by this TV. The contrast is incredible, and the brightness is a big step up from my old set. HDR and Dolby Vision content really pops, even with sunlight streaming into the room, thanks to the anti-reflection screen. The picture is so vivid and detailed, it makes everything look amazing. I haven't used the built-in speakers since I have a soundbar, but the e-ARC connection worked perfectly with no setup issues at all. It's also fantastic for gaming with the high refresh rate, everything is incredibly smooth. For the price, this is a fantastic TV that punches well above its weight.

I recently bought the Hisense 75U75QG, and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. The picture quality is excellent — colors are vibrant, HDR movies and shows look amazing, and the brightness levels make everything stand out beautifully. Darker scenes hold up really well too with deep blacks and good contrast, which makes movie nights feel more cinematic. The TV is also very quick when it comes to streaming. Switching between apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ is smooth and almost instant, which makes it a lot more enjoyable to use. Google TV is easy to navigate and has every app I need right at my fingertips. For gaming, it’s packed with features like HDMI 2.1, VRR, and super low input lag. Gameplay feels responsive, and graphics look sharp, though I have noticed a little blur during really fast motion. It hasn’t been a deal breaker, but it’s something I’ve picked up on. The only frustration I’ve run into is getting my Vizio home theater system to work with it. The built-in speakers are decent for everyday use, but I’d rather use my surround setup. I know the TV has eARC, but syncing it properly with my Vizio system hasn’t been as easy as I’d hoped. I’m still working through settings and cables, so hopefully I’ll get it sorted. Other small things I’ve noticed: the picture looks its best when you’re sitting directly in front of it. From wider angles, colors and contrast aren’t quite as strong. Reflections can also show up if you’ve got a lot of light in the room. Straight on, though, the picture is gorgeous. Overall, I’m really happy with this TV. The picture is stunning, it’s fast with apps, and it handles movies, shows, and gaming really well. Once I get the theater system figured out, it’ll be exactly what I wanted in a big-screen TV.

We were all excited to get a new TV. This one is much larger than our previous one. It was easy to set up and install/connect all the apps for subscriptions we have to various streaming platforms. The kids love that we could connect their google accounts which allows them to view YouTube from their accounts. I like that we can set up different profiles for us and the kids. There are less buttons on the remote which we found to be much easier to use and navigate. It was a breeze to connect the gaming devices we had. In fact, the kids connected one all by themselves. The picture is very clear and bright (almost too bright especially the white). Our sound bar enhances the good sound quality. This is a great tv that integrates smart devices with everything you would need in home entertainment.

Great Bang For Buck Mini Led TV!

Having had a great experience with my previous Hisense 100" U76N, I was eager to pick up a newer, brighter Mini LED Hisense television. Setup and unboxing were straightforward with two people. Setting up Google Home and linking accounts was smooth, with no issues encountered.
Testing HDR content on YouTube and Netflix revealed that the TV gets impressively bright. After trying various calibrated settings, I noticed the speakers sound a bit muddy. Occasionally, the picture appears somewhat gray and grainy, but HDR black level tests on YouTube look phenomenal.
The anti-glare coating + 3000 nits peak brightness and enabling 4K at 165Hz for PC gaming are excellent features. It is remarkable that modern TVs can now deliver performance similar to gaming monitors from years ago.
This TV excels for gaming, sports, and movie nights. Its high brightness means there’s no need to close the curtains, as the reflection handling and peak brightness effectively counteract sunlight and glare. The new Hisense remote stands out & it feels amazing in hand.
My main concern is the haziness present in some content, as it can seem like there’s too much Mini LED blooming or graininess. Nonetheless, when the firmware operates smoothly, the Mini LED panel offers a viewing experience comparable to a brighter, budget-friendly OLED.
For the price, this TV offers outstanding value and an impressive feature set. It’s great to see Hisense truly competing in the USA market. I’m glad I was able to find a model that satisfies both my size-seeking sports fans and my need for HDR highlights, all without breaking the bank for an OLED. OLEDs above 65" are in a completely different price bracket.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tv. We purchased a similarly priced TV a few months ago and this one is very superior. The picture quality is great. It has bright colors and dark blacks without any issues between them. The sound quality is impressive! We hung this TV in our master bedroom and will be able to get rid of our soundbar. This has very good base levels and everything sounds clear. We can hear the people talking as well as the background sounds, which has been an issue on other sets we have had. I currently have all the AI settings on and will see if I can get used to them and what they do, but they seem to be great! It was easy getting the TV set up using my phone. Most of my apps were already signed in, and the wifi was signed in with my phone as well. We like the google navigation. Seems to be more intuitive and can show what is on all of the apps that we already have accounts for. I just wish there was a little more integration wit some of the non google apps.

The Hisense 75" U7 Series Google TV is a great mid-level UHD TV.
Starting with unboxing: The TV was well packaged and easy to get out of the box, as the box lifts up off of the TV. The sides of the screen are protected where you pick it up.
The standard VESA mounting points make mounting the TV on the wall a breeze. (mount not included - just make sure you select a mount that will work with 600 x 400 mm VESA mounting pattern)
The remote is stylish and easy-to-use, with backlit buttons that light up when you shake the remote.
Initial setup of the television is simple, though a bit time-consuming. It walks you through connecting to your wifi, signing in to your Google account, performing all updates, and adding your desired apps.
This is my first Google TV, and it does a nice job of displaying new episodes of all your shows from most of your apps, though it doesn't seem to recognize Plex for this function; I need to actually go into the Plex app to find new episodes of my shows.
The image quality is beautiful: bright, colorful picture with deep blacks. It has some sort of AI technology that tries to upscale low-resolution shows. It definitely tries to create more detail on some older (non-HD) shows that I watch, for better or for worse.
Sound is quite good for a TV. It has a 2.1.2 channel speaker system built-in, meaning 2 channels from the front, a built-in subwoofer(!), and 2 speakers that fire upward to emulate surround sound. It does a surprisingly good job, though certainly not what a true home theater system would do.
Overall, I'm very happy with this TV, and would purchase it again if I was in the market for another TV.

I purchased the Hisense 75U75QG, and I’m very impressed with its performance. The 75-inch size is perfect for large rooms, it really fills the space without being overwhelming.
The picture quality was outstanding right out of the box, with no need for any calibration or adjustments. Colors are vibrant, contrast is excellent, and it handles bright rooms with lots of sunlight exceptionally well. In fact, it outperforms my OLED TV in those conditions.
Assembly was quick and easy, and the overall build quality feels solid.

I can’t believe how great the picture is on this TV. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is excellent, and everything just looks better—whether I’m streaming movies or gaming. Playing on my PS5 has been a huge upgrade. The motion is smooth, and the detail, especially in darker scenes, is incredible thanks to the Mini-LED tech. The sound quality is solid too—better than I expected from a TV this thin. While it won’t replace a full audio setup, it’s definitely good enough that I don’t feel the need to add a soundbar right now. Setup was quick, the Google TV interface is smooth and easy to use, and the remote is intuitive. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this TV. It delivers premium performance at a great price, and I’m a Hisense customer for life.

The Hisense 75" U7 Series TV offers incredible picture quality to fully immerse you in your content. The sound is so good with the built-in speakers that I don't even need a soundbar. The quality is so clear you feel like you're part of the world you're watching. This ranks among the best TVs I've ever experienced. The 165Hz refresh rate is a total game changer making my gaming experience more fun and immersive! I highly recommend this amazing 4K TV!

I’ve owned several highend TVs, but this Hisense 75U75QG Mini LED QLED has completely exceeded my expectations. From picture quality to smart features, it’s a true flagship experience at a fantastic value. The 4K Mini LED QLED display is simply stunning colors are incredibly rich and lifelike, with deep blacks and brilliant highlights thanks to the Full Array Local Dimming and up to 3000 nits brightness. The Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG support bring movies and shows to life with amazing depth and realism. Gamers will love this TV. The Native 165Hz refresh rate and Game Mode Ultra deliver ultra-smooth motion and near-instant response times, even in fast paced games. The Hi View AI Engine Pro intelligently enhances image clarity and contrast in real time, making every frame pop. Plus, the anti reflection screen ensures no distractions even in bright rooms. Sound is another pleasant surprise the 2.1.2 multi-channel surround setup produces immersive, room filling audio that rivals many standalone soundbars. And with Google TV built in, all my favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Apple TV+ are just a voice command away. Speaking of which, the Google Assistant works perfectly, and the TV also integrates smoothly with Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home. Hisense truly nailed it with this one a sleek, modern design, plenty of HDMI ports (including ATSC 3.0 for future-proof tuning), and performance that rivals much more expensive brands. If you’re looking for a premium large screen TV that delivers brilliant visuals, top tier gaming performance, and smart functionality without breaking the bank, this Hisense 75U75QG is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

Since setting up the TV in my living room, it has convinced me that I made the right decision to purchase it. I love having movie nights with my family, and it's great when I'm playing Nintendo Switch on it. The picture quality is honestly super impressive. The colors are very vibrant and I can really tell the difference between this and my previous TV when watching documentaries and other high quality streams. This is also the first TV I've had where the sound quality is this good. Never had a TV with the subwoofer built in, and it works much better than expected. I still use my own soundbar but if I didn't then I wouldn't be too disappointed with just the TV speakers. Works great for voice dialogue, and decent for music, movies, and games. It would be perfectly fine for general TV usage. Overall, the TV more than exceeded my expectations for a new living room TV. Great all-around features and great value for the price. Very happy with the upgrade and look forward to utilizing the game mode in the future when I get a next gen console.

Beautiful colors on this tv, so clear and easy to watch. We were looking to upgrade from our last tv. I love using the Google OS over the other choices out there, it's more intuitive. It pulls suggestions from all your apps and makes it easier to continue watching right from the main screen for any app. The stand is solid, most tvs have these little legs that make you wonder if it will to over if you walk by. Not this tv, not at a hefty 120 lbs. It's so easy to set up using your Google account. Easily connected to our surround sound system. Now its like a movie theater in our living room. I would buy again. Its so easy to watch and binge your next favorite series.

We’ve had a 65 inch TV from another brand for a couple of years, and it had become very glitchy and susceptible to freezing, so my family was thrilled when I announced we were upgrading to this 75 inch Hisense tech-forward model. We’ve only had it up and running for a couple of days, and it’s been outstanding. The picture and sound are crystal clear, and it was very simple to install and navigate. The standout features are most definitely the fantastic image and powerful sound. We are extremely satisfied!
