Customers are pleased with the Speedster MERC310's performance and large VRAM capacity, finding it offers great value for its price. However, some customers note the card's substantial size and that ray tracing performance could be improved. While cooling is generally praised, some users report experiencing noise issues at higher loads.

Powerful gpu, upgraded from 6600xt and I’m getting much better performance about 3x frames at 1440p, the gpu uses a lot more power, but Radeon chill I get 60fps with less power draw than the 6600xt did, but I have seen it spike to 330w. The xfx model runs cool but can get loud when overclocked, it is also a very long card especially when you attach the support bracket, I can fully recommend this card for 1440 60fps in almost all games

Great card, runs as expected and the clock speed bump over other 7900 XT’s is a nice bonus. This is the “Black edition” which has a silver backplate, the standard version has a black backplate and a ~20mhz clock speed difference (Black edition is clocked higher) and you kinda have to dig to find out which is which, and I got the wrong one the first time around. The card is beautiful and understated, it looks really lovely and high quality, but know if you’re into RGB know that the logo is a cool white LED with no adjustment. And Definitely make sure you have enough room in your case, because this card is massive, in my Fractal North (non XL) it fits, but the front fan has to be removed for the anti sag bracket to fit, and you probably wanna use it, or an alternative anti sag measure because it’s a very heavy card. Overall I think it’s a great card, kinda the EVGA route, where you’re paying a bit of a premium for a good cooler design, but it is a very nice piece of hardware.

First off, FedEx surprised me for once. As of 8pm the night before it was due, tracking said they hadn't even picked my item up yet. But I still had it the next morning.
My card has benched at 2600mhz with boost. Some of the benchmark sites say this card is capable of higher. But I likely don't need that.
I'm into games that utilize a lot of VRAM, but don't use DLSS or Ray Tracing. Though it is reported 1440p is still very playable with Ray Tracing enabled on this card. If you want stronger Ray Tracing performance, it's been said time and time again, go with a 4080 or 4090 and spend $400+ more.
With the Zbar installed I've got about 3" to spare in my 011 Dynamic EVO, on a standard installation. Don't see a sense in going with vertical or upright installation since XFX really toned the flashiness down on this. I'm coming from a XFX Merc 319 6750 XT. I may feel froggy and throw some LED strips under the shroud at a later date if it bugs me too much. Best Buy had a very limited selection on this gen of AMD cards.

Amazing Graphics Card

This gpu is an absolute beast. So far I have tried it out in 1080p (on a 240hz monitor) and 4k (on a 60hz TV). It can obviously run any game with maxed out settings and get over 60fps in 1080p. But I couldnt believe just how well this card runs games in 1080p. I havent seen a game hit below 100fps on my monitor. I average 168 fps in Red Dead Redemption 2 with maxed out settings, and 101 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 with maxed out graphics settings and raytracing. Performance in 4k is phenomenal too. RDR2 runs over 100fps (unlocked from 60hz on my TV) maxed out in 4k, and Cyberpunk 2077 is so close to hitting 60fps with max settings and medium raytracing in 4k. I got it to hit 55fps in the city. Every other game ive tried has hit a smooth and solid 60fps in 4k. The card is already a powerhouse, but with some more driver updates this will for sure be the best bang for your buck gpu. AMD is notorious for drastically improving the performance of their gpus in the first year of release. If you want a new high end card and dont want to feed into Nvidia’s ridiculous new pricing, this is definitely the way to go.

Was having vram issues on my 3070 FE with several games and decided that the 4070 and 4070ti didnt have sufficient vram. Base on that and watching many reviews I settled on the 7900xt. Price was perfect compared to the launch price for the performance and spec upgrade. Instalation was smooth, drivers worke well with all my games. Running on a 4k pannel. This is the kind of card i plan on keeping 2 gen cycles. Lets see what AMD can cook up when the 9000 series comes out in about 4-5 years.

Great graphics card for 4K definitely recommend if you can get it for 800 or less, the 20gb of gddr6 should future proof games way better then the ngreedia 4070ti that only comes with 12gb for the same price more or less. Many new game releases are arleady maxing out 12gb at 4K high/ultra settings. FSSR3.0 should be getting released soon so theirs that too. This card runs cooler than the Asrock Phantom 7900xt and has higher boost clocks aswell.
Keep in mind this is a chunky card. I had to buy a single 15mm slim fan for my 360 AIO so it could fit in the front of my Corsair 4000X case, not to mention the included gpu support bracket would not even come close to fitting inside but you can easily buy a cooler master rgb gpu support like i did. One more thing is I wish this card looked more pleasing than it does but still decent looking and performance matters more than aesthetics for me overall.

Let me start by thanking best buy for honoring the price match Guarantee was able to get this for 812 with tax.
POSITIVE:
Very good cooling design
Backplate does help with cooling
Has one of the highest clocks out of the box .
Deisgn is pretty good "except backplate" but is subjective lol .
Negative
My have to upgrade the psu "currently runing of a 650w bronze psu no issues . But doesnt mean every one will be able to.
Backplate lol
Had non and anystore with in 60miles
Other than those things this is a great gpu. Even better if you can price match with a sell price of a listed retailer.

Upgraded my system from Intel/Nvidia to AMD. Running 7800 3DX and 7900XT, which I got for 769. This card runs every and anything thrown at it. I can't say enough about the smoothness, vibrantness, and crispiness of the games on my LG 34GL150 ultra-wide. I highly recommend this card. For 769 plus tax, you enter the enthusiast gaming league and you will not be disappointed.

The price is the biggest reason I docked one star but all the new GPUs are overpriced imo.
I bought this card because of all the coil whine and temperature issues people were reporting about the reference cards for RDNA3. So far, this XFX card runs so quietly that I can't hear it above my actual case fans and CPU fans. I couldn't really hear any coil whine from my specific sample either. I'm using an HX1200i for my PSU with individual cables for each GPU power and I've heard that higher quality PSUs and using individual cables can help with the coil whine. I dunno how true that really is but I'm doing it anyways. Temps seem to hover around 60-70 and my GPU fan speeds are around ~1000 rpm. Everything is just "auto" settings. I play most games on a 1440p 144hz monitor and usually medium settings.
This GPU is absolutely huge especially if you're using the Z support bar. I'm using a Thermaltake View 71 case which is a gigantic case by today's standards. However one cool thing that happened to me with this case is the fact that the Z support bar is exactly where my HDD cage sits so the HDD cage kinda gives extra support. You can see this in the pictures I've attached. You can see that my HDD cage is blocking a bit of the airflow to my GPU but yet my temps are still "not too bad" and the GPU fans don't really ramp up too much. I'm sure a better airflow case would give even better temps.
To sum it up, GPU runs cool and quiet imo, Is extremely long if you use the Z support bar, and the value could be a bit better.

Worth the price and the graphics card, but make sure you have 850 power supply or higher because this GPU is powerful. Get a display port or display port cable adapter that has HDMI because it wasn't working with my HDMI cable, so I had to use a display port adapter. If you had the same problem as I did. Install the drivers for the graphics card so it is used fully. It comes with a metal plate that helps with the sagging of the GPU, and it keeps it solid, or you can use a GPU holder, even a stand for it.

I replaced a rx 6800 with the rx 7900xt, Big performance gains. Went from 150 fps on bf2042 1440p low to 250 fps with this card.
I have a nice 750w power supply and didn't want to replaced it. Very happy with the purchase

The graphics card is top notch. Paired it with a 7800X3D and 32GB of DDR5, so it is more than enough to run any game currently out at high FPS in 1440P, or good FPS in 4K. Came with a support bracket and takes two 8-pin PCIE connectors. Do beware, make sure your system will not only have enough space for the hefty GPU itself, but also the support bracket as it sticks out past the GPU when seated(had to leave mine out, sadly). As far as gaming, this GPU will give a pretty solid bang for your buck.

Excellent GPU. Temps stay under 60c even during heavy gaming loads. Using the in game Call of Duty MWII benchmark this gets over 300 FPS paired with a 7700X. Build quality is amazing since its all aluminum and it stays very quiet. If you are a Call of Duty player look no further, this card destroys it.
