Have this receiver in the garage and love the fact I can use my cel phone to listen to my music. Also the channels (A/B) allows you to have two different sets of speakers in two different locations. You can play music on one channel or the other or both at the same time.
Excellent purchase and very economic.

Great sound! Replaced my old receiver, which had failed after many years. Was surprised at the improvement in sound clarity and depth. More volume than I can use. Tuner section is a definite improvement over my old system. There are a few features that work well but you have to read the manual to understand how to set them up. You can set the initial volume when the unit turns on. You can set the maximum volume you wish to have, or just let it blast out the full 200 watts - careful for your speakers, if they will not handle this volume. A good option.
I am not using a phonograph, so I do not need a preamp feature, which is missing from this unit - too bad. If you need the preamp feature you will have to buy a seprate feature or buy a more expensive unit that incorporates the device.
Overall, I am very happy with this unit. The remote control is easy to use, but a little large. Miss being able to set stations and going directly to them, but going up/down the presets is common now. The AM section is useless. The AM antenna does not really work.

I paired this receiver with some Polk Audio bookshelf speakers and the sound was great. Also hooked the TV up to it and the sound far exceeded my expectations. The Blue Ray was a breeze to set up. What more can you say. I'm very happy with all the results.

This bluetooth 2.1 channel reciever works great when connected to a sound bar and sub-woofer for audio-video while at the same time able to listen to local radio stations. The best of both

It is a great system to use. I bought it for my garage and hooked it up to four Cerwin Vega floor speakers. They sound awesome and it has plenty of power to push sound to all four speakers. I love the Bluetooth on it as it makes it easier to connect to my phone.

This is an excellent receiver. I just needed a stereo receiver for my wife to listen to CD's and the radio. I already had a net of NHT bookshelf speakers that I wasn't using. Hooked up the receiver to the speakers and it worked great. I wanted something that would be easy for my wife to use and with the included remote she can simply access the input she needs to listen to what she wants. As you would expect this is a pretty basic receiver. RCA inputs, speaker connections for 2 pairs of speakers and that's about it but it works great and sounds great too. I ended up using the 3.5mm connection on her Sony 900E TV to connect to the receiver and now she can watch TV and listen through the receiver and speakers. If you are looking for the basic 2 channel receiver this is an excellent choice and the price is right too.

I have been a Yamaha audio fan for years...this receiver does what I think Yamaha receivers excel at: sounding great.
This receiver has a clean sound in the Yamaha tradition. Bluetooth reception is the digital toy for fast connection; for the person who wants all connected audio, this is a good choice.
Output at 100 watts per channel never disappoints.

So I was looking for a cheap receiver to play holiday tunes on outside my house... this fit the bill. Great Bluetooth connectivity and functions. The only negative is the volume is a bit low. But you can tell it's well built and for the price. Perfect!!!

I have one of these in my garage so decided to purchase another one for the lake. Have it set up with Yamaha outdoor speakers on the dock and the deck. Love the bluetooth and the sound is excellent.

This unit definitely lives up to the reviews. Very positive!
Yamaha doesn't make a bad amp; and for the money this is a great value.
Now if it had a 12ax7 pre... THAT would have been optimal...
Happy with the purchase!

This is a very basic unit, but works well. Limited inputs but the bluetooth connection works which is the main input we use with this unit. Plenty of power to play loud if you would like. You do need to use the remote though to generate the bluetooth link.

I bought this for backyard use. Hooked up to two outdoor Yamaha speakers. I ran my outside tv sound through a/v cable optical adapter from Amazon. Sounds great for my yard. Recommended. Bluetooth works great also.

It has enough power to drive my 1960's era AR2's nicely. The sound is good. So far everything works as advertised, Bluetooth and FM easy to set up and use. One of the stations I listen to is somewhat difficult to receive and I have had trouble with other tuners at my location, but the Yamaha receives it clearly with no noise.

This receiver was not only at an affordable price, it just sounds amazing! I bought it to connect some bookshelf speakers to my turntable. My turntable has a preamp built in, so I only needed to plug in the RCA cables into the receiver. Then, I plugged in my JBL bookshelf speakers. Super easy to use, Bluetooth capabilities, and just all around good quality that you would expect to find with Yamaha!

Solid receiver, good sound. Bluetooth is nice and works reliably - I use it to stream audio from a small PC in our conference room. Disappointed to see there was no optical audio input, otherwise happy with my purchase.
