This is my second purchase of this same item. The first Yamaha - 200W 2-Ch. Bluetooth is hooked up to 6 speakers in my garage, I also route the cheap garage computer thru it via one of the AUX hookups. The sound is crisp and clean and powerful. We bought another to route our new 65" Smart TV sound to two large tower speakers. Very happy with the sound quality. Highs and lows are clean with zero humm, hisss or crack. You could spend more, but why would you - this unit delivers studio quality audio. You'll love it.

Got this and a small set of polk bookshelf speakers (S15) to improve the sound of my father's TV. Works well--sound is much clearer and better quality that soundbars imo. The remote keys are tool small though imo. This is obviously stereo and there is no surround sound...but we didn't need that. Just clean stereo sound, Huge improvement,

I have only had for a few weeks but it was much less expensive than a amplifier I had been looking at and it give me a lot more options to hear my music than any other device. My only issue so far is that when I switch from one mode or line like Bluetooth to radio, the volume seems much lower. Overall, great item.

This is a relatively basic unit, so don’t expect it to perform like a $500+ unit. With that out of the way, I picked this one up for my garage, along with the indoor/outdoor speakers, and it does what I need it to do. Bluetooth, AM/FM, basic functions and that’s really it. Connectivity has been great so far and seems to have pretty good range. Very pleased thus far

I purchaded this Yamaha 2-Ch receiver with sole purpose of powering my older Bose 301 speakers via bluetooth on my deck. Combination of purchaser reviews and my past history with Yamaha electronics mades this an easy choice and I couldn't be happier. Set up is easy, bluetooth has worked flawlessly, and sound is crisp and well powered.

I absolutely love my Yamaha receiver! I got it as an open box purchase and it works great! The remote was even included. I love the facts that now I can listen to music wherever I am at in my home! I’m excited to see the sound quality once I upgrade to wireless speakers

I’ve bought two of these simple Yamaha receivers in the last year. They are great to add stereo to spots in your home where you don’t need 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. And the built in Bluetooth compatibility is great... you can stream music from your cellphone or IPad. The receiver works well provided you hook up a good antenna. You can drive two or four speakers (the more efficient the speakers, the better). I have a variety of Klipsch bookshelf speakers that work great with this receiver. You also have 3 line inputs in addition to the AM/FM receiver and Bluetooth input. You can’t hook up an old style record turntable without preamplication, but not many folks use them anymore. There is no separate output for a subwoofer, but you could hook up a powered subwoofer to the speaker B output. Don’t expect the performance of a $1,000 amplifier/receiver, but I think you’ll be quite pleased with the quality of this Yamaha, especially for the price. And the remote control is very nice. I absolutely love it... that’s why I bought a second one for a guest bedroom. Of course you can run your TV “sound out” to the receiver. Just remember you won’t have surrounded sound, but you can have four speakers. I’ve also run my Sanyo Clip MP3 Player through this amplifier.
