I bought the receiver on sale to use in a small office. My primary use is to operate an old turntable. I found out reading other reviews that a turntable pre-amp is a necessary purchase for this receiver. I'm pleased with the performance, especially for the low price.

I returned this after hooking up 3 different sets of speakers and experiencing the right channel cutting out. Purchased with speaker wire that is complete garbage. Turns out that a speaker WAS faulty twice and that the wire needed to be replaced.

A great receiver at a friendly price . It even has a snooze timer which is great to set when trying to get some sleep .

Serves all intents and purposes. Excellent connectivity and is the heart of my studio set-up.

I needed a stereo receiver 2 channels this fit the bill.

Needed receiver to replace a very old one we had that burned out. It was a great value and filled the need. Multi source and good old fashioned stereo wire plugins the current generation have probably never seen before.

This receiver has been our garage / outdoor receiver for over a year. Works great. Often have trouble in the Texas heat, but this one works fine

Needed to replace my old and outdated receiver/amplifier and am very happy I chose this Yamaha one! Since we’re at home more than usual (COVID-19) needed to listen to all my music now... hope we all get over this!

The stereo works as it should. One thing I like about it l, is it has AM radio.

Easy to set up, has great sound output and the FM receiver works very well

Solid unit, nice features, but I would have to say the listed output vs actual might be a bit misleading. Great unit for a budget system just not the 100 watts per channel.

Excellent 2-Channel Receiver with many uses. I am personally using it for one of my whole home zones and works perfectly for that purpose. All my other receivers are Yamaha as well.

Very nice receiver, enjoy listening to it. Always wanted a Yamaha receiver/ Tuner. If you are interested, I have a entertainment system 4 sale. Fisher brand with all components and speakers.
